Hydra starts landing in the sand and looks at the environment around them

Hydra Agent: "well this looks terrifying."

Hydra Agent 2: "agreed."

Ward drops onto the sand along with Fitz.

Ward: *brushing himself off* "Everyone here?"

The portal still open shoots you out along with Coulson. You land on your feet taking a look at the wasteland.

Y/N: "it's here." I look around the the horror Loki spoke about and turn around seeing a familiar face, Grant Ward.

Y/N: "YOU!" I lunge at him throwing a punch while he dodges and aims to hit me back. I dodge again and bring his face to my knee breaking his nose.

Hydra agents hold me at gunpoint while I hold Ward with a knife to his throat

Y/N: "I should've killed you when I had the chance." I turn to the guards "Drop your weapons." they follow my orders and drop their guns

Ward gets out of my grip and holds me back at gunpoint.

Ward: "never thought i'd see you again Agent Y/N Colli—" Coulson shoots him before he could say another word.

Fitz: "Sir, you—"

Coulson: "killed him? yeah, I hope so." he turns to you "Y/N you knew him?"

Y/N: "it's long story" I say staring down at Ward's body "let's get out of here."

(Flashback to a mission with the avengers)

On Comms
Y/N: "I'm at their location. They're taking Bucky in."

Tony: "Stay hidden but don't engage. Wait till the rest of us get there."

Steve: "still very irresponsible you sneaking in there without back-up Y/N"

Y/N: "you want him back as much as I do Cap."

Steve: "yeah but you don't have a plan."

Y/N: "plan or no plan I'm getting him out of Hydra. He's spent enough time under their control"

I go invisible and sneak into the Hydra Base

Inside the base I see them take Bucky into a lab with a brain washing machine

Hydra Agent: "you have always been a gift to mankind winter solider."

Bucky resists as much as he can before they sedate him and hook him into the machine

On comms
Y/N: "guys we're about to lose him again I can stop this."

Nat: "No Y/N you can't let them know that you're there."

Sam: "We're a just a few minutes from the facility."

Y/N: "still, there's not enough time. i have to."

Tony: "Y/N Don't—"

I turn off my comms and start shooting the Hydra Agents. I'm still invisible and set off a smoke bomb to get Bucky out of the machine.

The alarms sound off and Hydra agents start rushing to the cell

Y/N: holding onto Bucky "Bucky! hey! c'mon babe can you hear me?"

He tries moving but he's too limp in my arms

Y/N: "i'm gonna get us out of here, just hold on tight."

I cloak him and start to run out of the room trying to find an exit

A gunshot barely misses me when I get caught in an electric net. I feel The electric currents run through my body as I lose my invisibility.

I look up and see Grant Ward looking down at his feet

Ward: "now who might you be?"

He walks towards me until the ceiling above him falls down with Tony Stark landing on the wreckage

Tony: "just in time?"

Y/N: "close enough."
