A few weeks later...

SHIELD has been dealing with the lost of you, a Shield member and friend.

They're able to take a break with less serious missions until Coulson receives a call alone in his office

On the phone
Coulson: "hello?"

Y/N: "hey Coulson, miss me?"

Coulson: "Y/N?!"

Y/N: "Can't get rid of me that easily." I smile through the phone "How've you been, how's the team?"

Coulson: "oh we've just been grieving your lost! How did you even—?"

Y/N: "Survive? I had a little help." I look over to my dad from my bed smiling at how he was able to save me

Y/N: "I'll explain everything to everyone. you know where to meet me."

Coulson: "I do miss Stark. See you."

I hang up on the phone and place it on the table waiting for Bruce to clear me

Bruce: "alright Y/N you're free to stay back in your room."

Y/N: "Thank goodness, this felt like being a prisoner in my own home, but not."

Bruce: "You were in a coma for almost all of it."

Y/N: "still." I get up from the bed and gather my things
"I'm guessing I'm going to have to deal with another change of my powers."

Bruce nods

Bruce: "no one I know is as power random as you."

Y/N: "It happens."

I walk back to my room thinking about the changes my power has gone through. From first turning into an Inhuman, absorbing magic from an infinity stone, then
this incident with Lash. I'm lucky to be able to adapt to all of it.

I walk into my room expecting it to be empty until I see the love of my life sitting on the bed

Y/N: "BUCKY?!" I run into his arms hugging him for the first time since we parted in Wakanda.

Bucky: "hey doll, have fun while I'm gone?"

Y/N: "Oh my goodness." I smile at down at him while we're lying on the bed.

Y/N: "just the usual sacrificing myself for the good of others, and having my powers change yet again."

Bucky: "Ah." he shakes his head and hugs me again

Bucky: "I missed you."

Y/N: "I missed you too. When'd you get back?" I fall to his side

Bucky: "Just yesterday before you woke up."

Y/N: "you didn't come see me."

Bucky: "I wanted it to be a surprise. I hear your friends from SHIELD are coming?"

Y/N: "yeah I just called them, can't wait for them to meet everyone."

Bucky: "I'm excited too...In the meantime, why don't we have some fun before then?"

Y/N: "Hmm what'd you have in mind?" I smirk at him as he gets on top of me.

Daisy, Mack, and May are walking towards Coulson's office

Daisy: "I'm getting deja vu, anyone else?"

Mack: "I am."

May: "Same here."

Daisy: "I'm guessing you two don't know what we're being called in for?"

Mack: "Fitz-Simmons are already there. It's just us and them boss called for."

They walk through the doors and see Coulson smiling

Coulson: "Now that everyone's here, I have special news."

Everyone looks at Coulson interested to hear what he has to say

Coulson: "Pack your bags, We're taking a field trip."

The team packs their bags into the van unaware of where Coulson is taking them.

They drive through upstate New York and pull up to a large facility

May: "Coulson, is this—?"

Daisy: "You're kidding."

Everyone gets out of the car looking over at the large building imprinted with the letter A

Daisy: "why are we here?"

Y/N: "to see me."

Coulson, May, Daisy, Mack, and Fitz-Simmons turn around hearing your voice.

Y/N: "Great to see you all again."

I give them all a hug as they're in shock seeing me still standing. They're all tearing up including May who I didn't expect to see crying.

Daisy: "Y/N!" I hug her as tears fall from her eyes

Y/N: "Daisy! I missed you, I missed you all! I hope that blast didn't hurt you."

Daisy: "Oh forget that! how are you here? how did that explosion not kill you??"

Y/N: "well I live here."

I look over to everyone still shocked except for Coulson who's known my secret this whole time.

Y/N: "and I'm still alive cause they saved me. Turns out my dad was keeping an eye on me and sent Thor up to get me out in time."

Mack: "Your dad? Who—?"

Tony: "That would be me." he walks out the facility

Tony: "Tony Stark, Y/N has a rep for reckless behavior, no different if she's with us or you guys." I smile shaking my head knowing that what he says is true

Fitz: "Y/N Stark?!"

Tony: "Bingo! Fitz am I right? I've been following your work on gadgets for some time, you're a pretty smart kid."

Fitz: "Oh wow, Thanks sir." His jaw drops at the fact Tony Stark admires his work.

Tony: "Call me Tony. Come inside, it's air conditioned despite Barton messing in the vents."

I laugh and we start to walk inside

May: "huh?" she whispers to me

Y/N: "oh, don't worry about." I hope she doesn't try to attack Barton if she scares her, but I also hope she does.

Everyone gets inside and we make our way to the main meeting area with the rest of the avengers waiting for us.

Y/N: "Agents of SHIELD, the Avengers. Avengers, the Agents of SHIELD."
