"There we have Clint and Jeff. The Medjacks." Newt said. Thomas looked at them as they waved and said 'hi' to Newt. All of a sudden, Thomas was knocked into, falling to his knees. He quickly stood up, brushing himself off. He looked at who knocked into him.

Gally.

"What do you say, Greenie? Wanna see how tough you are?" Thomas looked around. "Greenie. Greenie. Greenie." The boys began chanting.

Newt pushed Thomas into the ring. "So I walk this circle and it's your last place for five minutes." Gally said. Snickers left the crowd.

Gally suddenly launched himself at Thomas, shoving him into the crowd of boys. They shoved him back in. Gally charged at him and they began shoving each other. Thomas quickly moved out of the way, causing Gally to fall.

"Ouu." Thomas felt proud. "Woo!" He hooted. Not long after, Gally kicked his feet out from underneath him.

Landing on the ground, Thomas hit his head. He groaned in pain, closing his eyes to hopefully stop the pain.

Newt looked down at Thomas. He wasn't moving. Newt began shaking him. "Thomas?" He asked.

No movement.

"Bloody hell, Gally." Newt snapped. "Is he dead?" Gally asked, pacing around. "I'm not sure. Get Jeff and Clint." He said.

Thomas sat up fast, gasping for air. "Shuck, Tommy. I thought you were bloody dead!" Newt worried.

"No, but close." He said. Newt helped him up. "This is why I need to stop drinking." Gally mumbled as Thomas and Newt walked off.

Had something like this happened before where they had died?

Thomas sat back down against the tree. Newt sat next to him. "How's your head?" He asked. "It doesn't hurt as bad anymore." Thomas said. He looked at Newt, who was looking at him.

Thomas felt himself get lost in Newt's eyes. The light had returned, as if everything was normal.

He felt himself being drawn towards Newt. Newt leaned in also. Thomas closed his eyes as their lips made contact.

It was wonderful. It felt as if they were the perfect fit. Thomas felt happy, overwhelmed, and something else he couldn't describe.

Newt was the first to pull away. Why had he done that? He loved y/n. He was supposed to be kissing y/n, not Thomas.

"I have to go. I shouldn't have done that." Newt said, getting up and walking off. Thomas looked at the walls. What had he done that Newt was so worked up about?

Thomas sighed, getting up. He looked for Alby. He needed a place to sleep. To lay off the thought of Newt, and his lips.

"Hey Greenie." An unknown voice spoke. Thomas turned around to meet a chunky young boy with curly hair. He was holding many supplies.

"Hey, where's Alby? I need a place to sleep." Thomas looked around. "Oh, that's why I'm here." The boy said. "Great. So, uh, where do I sleep?" He asked.

"Since it's late and it takes awhile to set up a hammock, you'll be sleeping in a sleeping bag on the floor. Don't worry, I will too." The boy assured.

Thomas looked at him. "Here, let me take some of this." He said. The boy was relieved that he helped. "Chuck." He said, holding his only free hand out. "Thomas." He said, shaking hands.

Thomas tucked himself in the sleeping bag. He dazed up at the stars. He wondered if all this was fake. If this was all some sort of dream and it will be over when he awakes.

"Tomorrow, I'll help you set your hammock. And I'll show you a few things I do to keep the energy alive here." Chuck said before rolling over.

Thomas closed his eyes, the thought of Newt and his lips long gone. All he cared about was sleep.
