IANNE'S POV

I'm still standing here in the doorway going to the kitchen, carefully listening to the maids who are so indulged in their own world of stories about my family. Hindi naman ako nagagalit na pinag- uusapan nila kami, it's a part of life, sanay na din naman ako.

After kong malaman na buntis ako, akala ko iiwan na ko ng lahat ng tao sa paligid ko...even Xave. But he didn't, he never dared to leave me hanging. Kahit na nasasaktan ko yung damdamin niya, hindi pa rin nia ako iniiwan.

"I'm shocked...really. But I'm not going to leave you, not in time that you really need me.. and this is it. If everyone else put their backs on you, I'm not. I can be your friend, I can be your man... and I can be also the father of your child... we are in this together, Kylie."

I know kung gaano kalaki ang sinakripisyo ni Xave para sa akin. It's hard na basta na lang niya aakuin yung anak ko.. but I can't find any other way. Umalis ako, iniwan ko si Bench.. I don't know how he would react... He's terribly mad at me. He hates me up to the core. He will never forgive me..and he has the right to do so. I deserved it.

Isa pa, paano kung maayos na sya ngayon? Maybe he's starting to move on. Anong malay ko kung nagtagumpay na nga talaga si Xionnen sa pag- agaw niya sa akin kay Bench. Actually, it's a lot for me to deal with, not to mention that my parents are going to kill me if they knew.

"Ssshhh! Tahimik, andiyan si Ms. Arianne!" saway ng isa sa mga kasama niya. Bigla silang nag-tahimikan at nag-focus sa kani-kanilang ginagawa. I walked across the kitchen, kumuha ako ng glass of water and talked to them.

"Actually, I don't mind if you keep on talking behind our backs, but please, never mention anything to my son. Understand?" nag nod lang silang lahat, hindi sila makatingin ng direstso sa akin. Anong akala nila, kakainin ko sila ng buhay?

"All right, continue with your work, after that maybe you all can rest." I smiled to them and go back to my room. Narinig ko pa silang nag-buntong hininga after kong maalis.

I went straight to garden, I need fresh air, sometimes being around too much people can be suffocating, lalo na at hindi naman talaga nila alam ang lahat. Actually, no one really knows everything, except for me and Xavier.... Not even my parents.

I enjoyed looking at the stars, I think their refreshing to watch, anytime they can calm my nerves, I really feel at peace. Nung medyo nararamdaman ko na yung malamig na simoy ng hangin, I decided to go inside, hindi rin naman makakabuti kung napakarami kong free time para mag- isip, sometimes, naiisip ko lang lalo yung mga bagay na ayaw kong maisip.

So, I headed to our bedroom. Tapos na naman siguro maligo yung mag- ama, noh? Grabeh naman sila kung hindi pa. I opened the door. I peeked to see Tribal sound asleep on our bed, dahan dahan akong pumasok, trying not to make any noise that might wake up my baby boy.

"Ang tagal mo namang kumuha ng tubig." Bulong sa akin ni Xave. He's infront of his laptop, checking some e-mails, syempre may iniwan syang trabaho sa LA dahil sa pagpunta niya dito sa Pilipinas kasama ko, but he said he can still manage even if he is here with me.

"Sorry. Kanina pang tulog si Tri?" bulong ko din sa kanya. Pumunta ako sa may pwesto niya, nakaupo sya sa may table, kumuha muna ako ng marshmallow sa may drawer atsaka ako tumingin sa ginagawa niya.

"What's that?" I asked as I eat a mouthful of marshmallow, one thing that didn't changed about me? I love marshmallows! From the back, yumakap ako sa kanya, not really yakap, my arms are around his neck and I'm resting my chin in his shoulder, nakatingin pa rin ako sa screen, trying to understand kung ano ba yung pinagkakaabalahan niya.
