XAVE'S POV

Mall

"Ianne, you need to calm down, okay? What you're doing is not helping us, just please...relax. We will find our son. We will find Tribal..." nasa tabi ko si Kylie, nakaakbay ako sa kanya and I'm trying to comfort her. Kanina pa sya umiiyak, she keeps on blaming herself dahil napabayaan niya si Tribal.

"Miss, can you please make another announcement! No one is coming here to give us any update about my son. It seems like your security here is not doing their job for Pete's sake!" Kylie shouted at the staff and raised both her hands due to exasperation. Kanina pa mainit ang ulo niya, dumali na naman sya sa pagiging primadonna niya, she wants everything fast and in order. But in this case, hindi naman naming pwedeng madaliin lang 'toh, nawawala si Tribal. Shit.

"Kylie, they're doing what they can do. They already paged about it, in fact, every half hour as you asked, so just stop—" pagsasabihan ko sana si Kylie na tigilan na niya muna yung pag-u-utos sa mga tao dito, they all look frustrated dahil kay Kylie. My phone is ringing kaya naman sinagot ko kaagad iyon.

"Hello? Who's this?" I greeted on the other line. It's an unregistered number. I'm not expecting any calls, so who is this caller might be?

"Hello? Is this Myco Contis, Tribal's Dad?" the speaker on the other line asked. Nung marinig kong binanggit niya yung pangalan ni Tribal, my whole body tensed up kaya naman, mabilis na lumapit sa akin si Kylie.

Myco Contis ang ginagamit kong pangalan when it comes to business. Only my family and friends are allowed to call me Xave. Sino kaya 'toh? At paano niya nalaman yung number ko?

"Yes, who's this? And why did you call?" the edge on my voice is audible, I cannot seem to relax, paano kung itong taong ito ang may hawak kay Tribal? What if he's in danger? Kylie will really freak out!

"Ah, ako yung taong nakakita sa anak mo. I saw him sa labas ng mall. He said he's lost. I asked for his parent's number and he gave me your calling card.." he explained. Sigh, nakahinga din ng maluwag. At least mukhang hindi naman tao na mukhang gagawa ng masama yung nakakuha kay Tribal, by the way he speaks, I think he's a well-mannered man.

"What a relief. All right, where could I meet you? Is he okay? Can I talk to him?" nakahinga talaga ako ng maluwag, nakakapit lang sa braso ko si Kylie and I smiled at her, she's confused and I told her that I'll explain everything to her later.

"Nandito kami sa isang shop, I'll just send the directions to you. Yes, Tribal's fine, he's here, I'm giving the phone to him now. Tribal... your Dad wants to talk to you." Then, I heard Tribal's excitement on the other line. He seems like eating something coz he's words are kinda off.

"Daddy? Daddy, it's me! Tribal!!!" he shouted, when I confirmed that he's really okay, nawala na yung tinik sa dibdib ko.

"Yes, yes. Tri, Daddy will pick you up, okay? Are you scared? Can you handle yourself a little longer?" I asked him, alam ko namang matapang na bata si Tribal, mana yata yan sa'kin.. kahit hindi talaga kami magkadugo, mana pa rin yan sakin.

"Of course, Daddy. I'm busy eating an ice cream here. Tribal will be fine. I will wait for you and Mommy. Wait! Daddy... is Mommy okay?" naririnig ko ang pag- aalala sa boses ni Tribal, kahit kailan talaga, napakamaalalalanin niya pagdating sa Mommy niya. He's such a wonderful son.

"Yes, Tri.. Mommy's here with me, she's crying because you're lost, so if you don't want your Mommy to cry, and you don't want me to worry about you, don't get lost again, okay? I'll be coming for you in a while, wait for me... are we clear?" tiningnan ko si Kylie, you can still see she's freaking worried, sino ba namang hindi, di ba?
