The suits were picked. The venue was set. The guests had all received their invitations long back. It was the wedding day already.

*** GROOM'  S ROOM ***

Tharn had never been so excited ever since his рара left him behind on this Esther. He had marked the day of his marriage on his calendar and was canceling out every single day as it passed by. He started habits he never imagined he would do. He started writing diary entries every night, describing his day and how much he wanted it to be his wedding day already. He was acting like a teenage boy in love for the first time.

His mornings were filled with wondering how beautiful his wife would look with his hooded doe's eyes. How he would start having morning kisses every day... again. How his days would be filled with bliss again. Bliss of having someone waiting especially for him back home. How he could now have someone to free himself around. How he could show his true self to someone once again. How he could throw away his mask of coldness away and run back home to embrace a body meant just for him. How he would cuddle Type to sleep every night. How he would spoil his wife with all he had.

How he would have someone to call his own.

Tharn stood in front of the mirror, checking himself out. He wanted to look the most perfect in the world for Type. He had never cared about his looks whatsoever. He knew he looked good always. But today? Today was different from always. Today, he wanted to look his best for his Type. He did not want to give Type a single reason to look at someone else today. He wanted all of Type's attention to himself.

He wore an off white shirt with black suit, the sleeves hugged his built biceps just right. Not too tight to make it uncomfortable, not too loose to make it loose the charm. A silver chain connected the tiny diamond brooch on the collar of his coat to the Kirigun family emblem on his chest pocket. His black pants hugged at the right points and ran down until his ankles. And his dark brown hair were swept backwards with some strands lying astray on his forehead. His aura was as intimidating as ever.

"What are you so nervous about?" Amp asked her brother-in-law as she fixed his tie for him. Tharn blushed unknowingly, "I- I'm not ner- nervous!" Amp chuckled at him and lifted her arm to ruffle his hair but Tharn caught it . "No messing with my hair," Tharn glared playfully at her. "Then, tell me who do you want to looks so good for?" Amp asked as she freed her arm from Tharn's grip .

Ever since Amp had joined their family, Tharn was never short on the motherly love . He started to see his brother's wife as the mother he never had. Tharn would talk to her with the same emotional connection as he used to with his papa. Amp was the one he was the closest to after his parents died. Only she was the one who knew his secrets. The only one who knew what Tharn was feeling. Only Amp knew what was on Tharn's mind.

And Amp, she loved how she could have a son and a little brother in the same person. She cared for him like her own. She knew that she and Thorn were not having a child any soon; so, she was grateful to Tharn, who let her love him like a mother loves her child. She wanted to nurture Tharn as her child as much as she could. And so , she knew how Tharn had this childish crush on his own wife-to-be. Her husband was aware of this bond between his brother and wife, and he could not be more delighted .

Thorn used to be constantly worried for his little brother when their parents had just completed their time on Esther. He knew how Tharn was more attached to their parents than he was. He knew how Tharn was dying on the insides on the loss of the two most important people of his life. He knew how Tharn turned cold towards everyone because he was afraid that if he got close to someone again, he might end up losing them too.

Thorn was so worried the day he was about to come out of the closet and tell his grandpa and brother about being straight. He was afraid that they might not accept his girlfriend or even him. But they did. He still remembered how Pharm had encircled Amp in his embrace tightly, thanking her for choosing him, for not leaving him knowing that he would be a part of the mafia world. But what he was thankful to Amp for was, she always succeeded in making his brother smile. For how she formed a quick connection with Tharn. For how she made it possible for their family to see Tharn smile once again. How she brought back the real man from behind that cold façade.
