Sidharth was in a conversation with Riya, Karan and his parents before the Court's proceedings started. Riya had a different glow in her face today. Sidharth noticed this. 

Even his parents and Karan seemed relieved. 

This gave him a hope maybe his bail would be granted. He would be able to go to find Shehnaaz. He decided he won't chase her this time but he still wanted to find her and make sure she was all okay. 

Judge entered making all of them stand in their places. And then sat down asking them to start. 

Riya : My lord jaisa ki apne pichle session m kaha tha mere paas issbaar bhot strong evidences h jisse yeh saaf Saaf pta chl jayega mere client bilkul nirdosh h.

Riya : Ohho thoda sa sabar rakhiye itni kya jldi h btane ka kya m toh dikhane ka aur sunane ka kasht bhi karne ki tayyar hu.

Sidharth eyes widened in shock. He looked at Riya and she blinked her eyes. 

Prosecutor : Objection my lord aise kisi witness ke bareme Prosecution ko btaya hi nhi gaya tha.. 

Judge : Miss Riya please come up to the division bench. 

Riya : Sorry sir yeh ekdm last moment m pta chla tha mujhe so.. 

Judge : Agli baar se aisa kuch repeat nh hona chaiye. Permission granted

Shehnaaz was handcuffed and was taken to the witness box. 

Sidharth stood right in front of her but she refused eye contact. While everyone looked at Shehnaaz some with curiosity some with disgust, 

Sidharth's eyes landed on the bruises present on her cheeks. There were so many cuts. Her cheeks were almost in the blue colour along with some dried blood cuts. His inner self pinched to see her like this. Her undereye was swollen too. 

Sidharth: Shehnaaz.. he called her by her name wanting to get a reply but none came. 

But the others looked at him shifting their gaze from Shehnaaz. 

Prosecutor took his seat while Riya continued charging her. 

Seconds later prosecutor interrupted. 

Prosecutor: Toh aap maanti h ki sbkuch aapne kiya h aur jo jo Mr. Shukla ne kaha tha woh sach h. 

Shehnaaz: Haa.. sb sach h. Main starting se batati hu. Maine Sidharth ko ek club m dekha tha woh shyd kisi meeting m the. Maine plan bnaya aur inke dusre bungalow m jane ki tayyari kri.. aur yeh maangye.. kyuki dheere dheere inhone mujhpr trust hogya tha.. waha jane ke baad maine saara sb kuch dekha aur sahi time pe waha se chli gyi.. mere apne phone se Sidharth ki ek picture aur waha ki location ek private media ko share krke m bhaag gyi. Mujhe pta tha jb police aayegi tb isse lejayegi aur mera kahi zikr bhi nh hoga. 

Lekin mere pendent ne mujhe hi phssadiya. Aur phir police mujhe dhundkr nikaal kr leaayi. 

Prosecutor : Ek min. Tb aap suicide kyu krne gyi thi? Aap waha se hi pkri gyi thi na.. 

Sidharth's heart churned hearing this. 

Sidharth: Yeh jhut h yeh jhut bol rhi h aisa kuch nh hua tha.. yeh 

Shehnaaz cutt him off hurriedly. 

Shehnaaz: Abh aapko jhut bolne ki zarurt nh h Sidharth. Maine woh clips destroy krdi h abh aapko koi tension lene ki zarurt nh h... darasal jb m phle din inse milne gyi thi maine aas paas camera set up krdiya tha hiddenly. Toh unhi clips se m inhe blackmail krke majbur krti thi meri demands puri krne ke liye. 

Sidharth: tum.. 

Shehnaaz again cut him off 

Shehnaaz: Aur suicide m krne gyi thi kyuki police mujhe dhund rhi thi.. m pakri jani nh chahti thi isliye maine socha khud hi...

Everytime he tried to spoke either Riya or Shehnaaz stopped him. 

Judge : As per Sana Kaur's confession. Yeh court unke upr sakt se sakt karwayi krne ka hukum deti h aur Sidharth Shukla ke against planning plotting krne me liye unhe 3 crore ka fine as a compensation charge krti h.. aur Shukla ko puri izzt ke saath riha krti h aur unki saari property unhe wapas dene ka hukum deti h.. 

Case closed. The court is dismissed.

Riya, his family and Karan happily walked to him. His parents hugged him but his eyes stayed fixed on Shehnaaz who was still standing on the witness box looking downwards. Riya and Karan were blabbering something while Shehnaaz was being taken to the jail again.

Shehnaaz looked away while passing from him. 

Sidharth didn't look anywhere he directly went to her like a mad person. His eyes dropped uncontrollable number of tears. 

Holding her wrist tightly he pulled her to look at him. But she still didn't. 

Sidharth: Kyu. Shehnaaz kyu... tumhe pta h yeh sb jhut h toh phir.. 

Shehnaaz: Shehnaaz nhi Sana... aur Kuch jhut nh h Mr. Shukla sb sach h.. aur jo kuch bhi isse phle hua usse aap bhul jao yeh smjhkr ki woh bs ek worst chapter tha aapki life ka.. she said looking into his eyes. 

Seeing tears her hands unknowingly traveled to his cheeks to wipe them off but was stopped with a tight slap on her face. 

It was Sidharth's mom. 

His mom : Khabardaar mere bete ko choona bhi mt nihayti neech aurat. 

He shouted at his mom while the officers started pulling her away with them. 

His grip on her wrist tightened. He looked at her. 

She tried to pull away her hand mumbling a sorry. 

He didn't leave it still. But rather felt a hot fluid on his palms. Shifting his gaze from her face to her wrist he saw blood oozing out. 

He left her wrist hurriedly and saw the cuts there. But before he could say something she was already gone.
