Klee's Adventures with Everyone!! (pt. 1)

a/n: this was inspired by some genshin ad i keep getting on youtube where shes like "klee loves amber!!11!!! klee loves kaeya!11!!!1" idk if it's official or not but whatever 😌 it gives me life so enjoy part one

THIS IS NOT SHIPPING KLEE WITH ANYONE, JUST WHOLESOME ADVENTURES

Klee hated time out. Why did big meanie Jean even put her in there? She was a perfect, amazing child most of the time. Trying to blow up all the fish in the lake shouldn't even count as being bad, because Klee was really just a very advanced fisher. But now Klee the genius couldn't go fishing, because as hard as she searched, there weren't any fish in the cup of water that Jean had given her before putting her in time out.

"Klee, are you alright in there?" Jean called, resting her hand against the door of Klee's time out room.

Klee stood in front of the door, pouting. Why couldn't Jean just let her out? She promised she would be good.

"No! Klee doesn't want to be in time out. Let Klee out!" she said, stomping her foot.

"Klee, I can't just let you out. I'll let you out when time's up." Jean closed off, and then there was only the sound of Klee's whining and faint bird sounds from outside. 

After a few more minutes of this, Klee had an idea. She would try to escape out the door! Klee did all that she could, kicking it, punching it, even trying to tell it to open, but none of it worked. Jean had taken away all her bombs, so she couldn't even blow it up. Finally, she just tried to turn the handle as a last ditch effort at getting out of there. To her surprise, the door swung open easily, and Klee ran out into the hall. The small girl raced out of the miniature door Jean had made for her, and she was finally free to run around Monstadt. She ran as fast as she could, as fast as the wind, as fast as-

"Oomph!" 

Klee was knocked backwards, the world spinning around her. A red blur came into her vision, and then slowly came into focus. A man with bright red hair ad eyes was kneeling in front of her, a concerned look on his face.

"You ran into me. Are you okay, little one?" He said, holding out a hand for her to get to her feet with.

Klee used the hand of support to stand, and then promptly fell into the man's feet. She was still very dizzy from getting hit (yeeted) to the ground. Strong hands wrapped under her arms, lifting her up. 

"I'll take that as a no. Who are your parents?" He asked, sitting her small form on his shoulders.

Klee frowned. She didn't remember, but she felt like Jean was pretty motherly (and annoying.)

"Big meanie Jean. She's not my mom, but she's annoying like one."

He seemed taken aback by that answer, for whatever reason.

"Oh, alright. Does Jean know you're out here?" 

Klee shook her head, the feather on her hat flitting back and forth. He sighed.

"To the Knights of Favonius headquarters we go."

3RD PERSON POV

As the small girl snored away on his shoulder, Diluc knocked on the door to the Knights of Favonius headquarters. A few seconds after he knocked, the door swung open. Jean was standing there, looking tired. As soon as she saw Klee slung over Diluc's shoulder, her eyes widened. 

"She got out!?" Jean questioned, looking Diluc in the eyes.

He nodded, and handed Klee into Jean's arms. She thanked him, and as he was walking out the door, she whispered something to him that he only barely heard. 

"I didn't know you had such a soft spot for kids."
