Chapter 16 - past denials cause to regrets

AKAASHI'S FLASHBACK

AKAASHI'S POV:

It was Monday and I was patiently waiting for homeroom to start until I heard a voice "KEIJIIIII!!" I turn around to spot Y/n making her way towards me. "Hey Keiji, how was your weekend?" She asked,

cute, I thought. Wait! Akaashi, shouldn't be thinking like that

Before she could see the awe in my eyes, I went back to my bored looking eyes and answered "Didn't I tell you to not call me by my first name? And my weekend was fine until you tried to call me every hour" I rolled my eyes

She looks at me with a look of sadness "Sorry Akaashi...I'll try and stop calling" she bows before returning to her seat

Y/N'S POV:

I went to my seat which was next to my best friend, Hina. "Hey N/n, are you okay?" She asks with a look of pity in her eyes. I give her my famous smile before returning all my attention to class

AKAASHI'S THOUGHTS:

was that too far? I never meant it like that. I would always wait for her every weekend to call... I just need to prove to myself that I don't like her, then everything will be back to normal.

NEXT FLASHBACK

AKAASHI'S POV:

Bokuto and I are chilling in the cafeteria until I heard a thud coming from our table, I look up to see Y/n and Hina. "Hey hey hey! What are you doing here?" Bokuto asked the duo "For Akaashi, of course!" Exclaimed Y/n. I felt myself smile which was immediately interrupted by my realization

"Come one Bokuto, we were just finishing up. The table is all yours." I stood up cleaning the table.

Bokuto and I made our way out "Agaasheee, why did we have to leave?" He pouted "It doesn't matter, Bokuto-san. My class is almost starting" I said making my way to English "BUT AGAASHEEE THERE'S STILL 30 MINUTES BEFORE YOUR CLASS!!" Bokuto shouted following me.

NEXT FLASHBACK

AKAASHI'S POV:

It was a Saturday and Bokuto decided for the whole team to hangout including Y/n because she was our manager. "HI AKAASHI!" Y/n came up to hug me, a small blush formed on my cheeks but it wasn't visible for Y/n to see. "L/n, leave me alone." Attempting to avoid the h/cnette girl

"Awee, Akaashi don't ignore me...what can I do to make you like me?" She asked

- TW: UH IDK JUST TRIGGER WARNING

"Maybe try loosing weight, yeah? Also it would also be better if you had plastic surgery because even makeup won't even do on that face. Try giving me space. Less sensitive, be less annoying, skinnier, and healthier. You're just pathetic. I'm looking at you right now and I just feel like I'm about to puke. You don't even fit the beauty standards. Try being more like Hina. I'm sure that would be pretty hard for you to accomplish" I reason

I then looked at her, she was looking down "You really think that?" She asked tears on her face. "I'm sorry to say this Keij- Akaashi but you're not the Akaashi I used to know...I miss the old you, what happened? Am I really the problem? Sorry but I'll take my leave now.." and she left with that

Sooner later,

Bokuto and the others arrived "Akaashi, what did you do?" Bokuto scolded, I look at him confused

"I saw Y/n crying, I heard her muttering things like 'maybe I should get plastic surgery' 'how do get skinnier' 'I already eat a bit at home, was that not enough?' 'do I scare the kids when they look at my face' 'please bring me back the old Akaashi.. Akaashi! What did you do?" He raged,

"IT REALLY HURT HER WHATEVER YOU SAID! I'M BLAMING YOU IF ANYTHING HAPPENS TO HER. AKAASHI WHAT HAPPENED TO YOU, YOU CHANGED...Y/N AND I MISS THE OLD YOU.." Bokuto continued pointing an accusing finger on me

"AHHHHHH!" Bokuto and I heard a lady scream. We all rushed there to find a people crowded infront of a car

As we got nearer, we heard someone got hit and that someone was Y/n...

"Y-Y/N!" Konoha stuttered out this caught my attention, I saw blood on her forehead "Is that your friend?" An old lady asks

We all nod "Well don't hurt her, if she wasn't here I was the one who was supposed to be hit...Take care of her for me" she said before helping the injured and passed out girl.
