You're Safe

In a blink of an eye.

Mina found herself calming the crying cub.

"Mi..." Chaeyoung couldn't utter a word. She was supposed to call Mina by her name for the first time, but immediately cut off.

She's scared.

But remembering the scent, warmth made her calm down.

Mina was right.

She'll be there even through the odds.

"Sweetheart, I'm here. Alright? Don't be scared.. You're alright.."

Chaeyoung who is still at the panic state, but not minding her surroundings.

Hearing Mina's soft calm yet worried voice made her believe that..

She is safe

"Are you hurt?" Chaeyoung shook her head. "That's good.. Alright, now look at me" Chaeyoung didn't.

"Chaeyoung..." still didn't.

"Sweetheart, please. I need to see if you're okay.." slowly, Chaeyoung lift her head.

She saw how worried Mina is.

The tone of her voice is nothing if you see how worried her expression is.

"Are you still scared?" Chaeyoung slowly shook her head.

Which made Mina frown.

"Ah. You could've just tell me you are still." Chaeyoung looked down.

For the second time, Mina saw how embarrassed she is.

"Don't be.. It's okay, you're with me. Don't worry, you can sleep" Chaeyoung's tiredness immediately came back.

She have been walking for hours.

She just panicked minutes ago.

She have been thinking for hours.

Enough for her heavy eyelids to immediately close.

Mina sighed.

"It's okay.. I'm always here. You're safe with me"
