"Hey, you did wait for me. Huh? I thought you'll lock your door and let me wait here for hours" Chaeyoung looked away. "I did not wait for you. I was about to enter my dorm--"

"Lying is bad. I saw you from afar. You're standing here and searching for me. Hence, i fasten my steps to reach here so you won't wait for too long"

'Why is she always worried about me?'

"Chaeyoung. Can i talk to you for a minute? Give me like, 2" Chaeyoung nods.

"You can talk to me whenever you want. And even how long is that.. But, what are we even going to talk about?"

"Chaeyoung.."

"Hm?" Chaeyoung crease her forehead.

"I like you"

Chaeyoung froze to her place.

Her breath hitch

'Why is she straight forward?! Can't she slow down?!'

"I have been in the denial phase for so long. Sana have been telling me i like you. Ah, i think about it for a long period of time. Turns out, she was right. Chaeyoung I'm not expecting you to feel the same way. I just wanted you to know about how i feel. Chaeyoung, i denied it to myself for a long time. It's time for me to admit it. And you're the first person who will know it"

"Are you..." Mina nod. "Yes. And I'm sure about it. I won't tell you if I'm not."

"I don't know.. I don't understand.." Mina show up a small smile. "It's okay. I just want you to know"

"You have been occupying my mind.. I don't know what to do" Mina smiled in her thoughts.

"You've been too. That's why i think about it for a long time." still keeping her small smile, Mina replied.

"I'll get going now. It feels less heavy when i let out my feelings. Thanks for listening, Chaeyoung" Chaeyoung was left dumbfounded.

She was merely to have an heart attack.

How can Mina say her feelings that calm?

Chaeyoung couldn't even admit to herself if she feels the same.

Or she's objecting her feelings at the older all along?

"This is nerve-wracking. She's.. Way too calm.." Chaeyoung shook her head in disbelief as Mina's back disappeared.

Mina have been inside Chaeyoung's mind until she threw herself to her bed.

"Is she just pranking me?"

"Was it just a dare from Sana-unnie?" she sigh.

"I should ask her. Yes, be brave Son Chaeyoung" she cheered for herself before dialing Mina's number.

"Hello?"

"Oh, yes? Are you okay?" Chaeyoung blushed. "Yeah.. I'm just wondering if what you said earlier was true?" she heard a faint chuckle.

"Ah, that's what you've been thinking since earlier? Son Chaeyoung, why do i dare to say it if it's just a joke? I will never tell a such thing if I'm not sincere."

"You weren't joking?"

"Hm. I'm not good at jokes though. Why would i even dare to? Why? Does it make you stay up all night? Don't mind it. It's---" Chaeyoung nervously laugh.

"Haha.. That wasn't the thing that makes me stay up this late.."

"Okay? What's wrong then? Is there something bothering you?"

"Yeah. My own feelings."
