How could Jerome do this? What did I walk into..? He was beating Mitch! How did Mitch even get here?
All these questions made my head spin so i picked up Sophia and cleared my mind. I walked to my car, unlocked it, and put Sophia in the back.
*ring ring*
I picked up my phone.
(Bold- Jerome
Italics- Sarah)
"Hello?"
"Sarah? It's Jerome. We need to talk."
"About what? About how you were beating up Mitch?!"
"I can explain...."
"No. It's time for me to talk and honestly i don't care how you feel after this because, for once in my life, I'm putting myself first."
"*sigh* what do you want?"
"Answers."
"Like?"
"Why were you beating up Mitch? How did he even get here?!"
"I-I have to go."
"No you don't. Answer me."
"I love-"
(Jerome's POV)
"You." Did she just hang up?
I had to go. I couldn't tell her why Mitch was there. It's just too dangerous and I want to keep her safe.
