(Sarah's POV)

I wake up with the sun shining bright in my face. I feel an urge to throw up so I run into the bathroom. By the time I reached the bathroom, I was vomiting non stop.

"Good morning." Jerome said leaning on the door frame and smirking.

"Shut it." I said right before I threw up again.

"Here. Drink this." He handed me a glass.

"What is it?" I held it up.

"It's a banana milkshake. I read it helped with hangovers."

"Lies." I turned away and threw up again.

I took a sip of the drink and eventually finished it.

"Wow. It took you 5 minutes to drink that." Jerome chuckled. "Do you want another one?"

I shook my head no and groaned. I felt horrible. Like I could sleep for days.

"Jayromeeeee!" I wined. "Carry me to bed pwesseee..."

Jerome bent down and picked me up bridal style. This reminded me of when I first met him.

*flashback*

I tripped on the sidewalk and cut my knee. The worst part is that I scuffed my new shoes.

"OH NO MAH SHOES!" I yelled, laughing.

"That's what your worried about! Your knee is bleeding!" Jasmine smiled.

"THE STUPID SUN IS IN MAH EYES." I yelled up to her.

"Then get sunglasses." She smirked.

"No. I broke mine, remember?" I laughed and looked at my knee.

"Hey, are you ok?" A blond guy held his hand out to help me up.

"Couldn't be better!" I smiled and grabbed his hand.

Woah! Sparks...

"You should come inside and get a band aid or something." He suggested.

"No that's ok. My apartment is only a few blocks away." I explained brushing off the dirt off my shirt.

"I can't just let you go walk around with a knee that is bleeding!" He smiled and walked me inside.

When I went inside and I could finally see, since the sun was in my eyes. Jasmine tapped me on the shoulder. I looked over to see that her mouth was wide open.

"Do you know what house this is..." She asked breath taken.

"No. Why?"

"It's T-" she started but then the guy came back.

"Follow me to the kitchen." He instructed. "Oh wait. Sorry."

He picked me up bridal style and carried me to the kitchen. The guy placed me on the kitchen counter.

"I'm Jerome by the way." He said while he was looking for the first aid kit.

"I'm Sarah Rose." I bit my lip. "And this is Jasmine."

*flashback ends*

Jerome placed me down lightly and carefully onto the bed and kissed my forehead. He then sat on the bed.

"Sarah..." He had that look in his eyes.

This can't be good.

"I-I don't know if you remember anything that happened last night but..."

"But what?" I sat up.

"You-"

Before he could finish I jumped up out of bed and ran back into the bathroom. For the next 15 minutes I sat there on the floor throwing up non stop. Eventually, I started to throw up blood.

"Take... Take Sophia... Take her to the hospital... With me." I gagged.

Jerome jumped up from the bed and ran to get Sophia. Assuming he put her into her car seat and everything, he came and helped me to the car. When we got to the car, he had a trash can with a grocery bag in it ready for me.

The car ride was long and slow. I saw streaks of purple, yellow, and pink in the trees. It isn't the sun... Then the whole earth starting glitching up or something. What's wrong with me?

By the time we got to the hospital, I felt like I was going to die.

"Hello sir. How may I help you today?" A nurse said.

"My wife went to the bar last night and she won't stop throwing up. But now she's starting to throw up blood." Jerome said slightly panicking.

I was rushed into a room for testing. What's wrong with me? Voices of people echoed in my head. I started seeing these demons inside of me. I could hear their high pitched laughter ring. I jumped up to see it was just a dream. Or was it?

"Oh good you're awake." The doctor said.

I looked over to see Jerome cooing Sophia. He is such a good father to her. We're going to raise a beautiful baby girl. Jerome looked up at me with sorrow glared in his eyes and just like that he looked back down.

"It seems that you've been drugged." The doctor explained.

"What?!" I exclaimed.

"Yes. It makes you delusional. It gets to the point where you can't take the insanity that your end up killing yourself. It's very rare and very dangerous. Who knows how the person got it."

"So you're saying someone tried to murder my wife?!" Jerome stood up, his face red.

"I'm afraid so." The doctor sighed.

"I swear to you, Sarah. I will find whoever did this to you." Jerome looked at me with promising eyes.
