Mysterious Woman (Javier Peña x Reader)

Summary: Everyone in the office was dumbfounded as they were watching the one and only Javier Peña smiling at an unknown woman who just walked in.

In the DEA office, it was never this quiet.

It was like a haunting silence, no one dared to move. Some were even afraid to blink.

No one understood what was happening.

Everyone's eyes were fixed on Peña's office.

It was clear that she was a pregnant, beautiful woman, wearing a flowy dress. They didn't expect any less from Peña, the real worry was that she was married. The huge engagement and wedding ring on her finger were hard to miss.

Gossip was already on the loose.

Was this woman his wife? No, Javier was not wearing a ring.

Was she a lover?

Who's baby was she carrying?

Did she and Javier had an affair and he got her pregnant?

Was she his sister? No, they didn't look alike.

And why was Javier's smile so genuine and happy?

But they all agreed in one detail, she was important to him. She had to be. No one has ever seen Javier so happy.

"Don't you have work to do?" asked Murphy as he saw everyone staring. Everyone snapped back to reality and continued with their work as he walked into Javier's office. "Hello Y/N. You peeked the interest of many people." he said as you turned to look at him.

You took a glace outside the office and saw a few people watching but they were quick to return to their work when you caught their eyes.

"Well, if it wasn't for Javi who left his keys and lunch at home, I wouldn't be here."

"I see. You look very..." he was about to say gorgeous but when his eyes locked with Javier's he saw the fire in them. "Healthy." is the word that left his mouth.

"Thank you. I'm six months along." you said very proudly. After all, you managed to not only marry Javier but now you had a baby on the way. You knew that Javier kept you a secret at his workplace. But lately, he allowed you to come and visit him if you wanted. And until today, you didn't have a reason to.

"Do you know if it's a girl or a boy?" he asked.

"Murphy. Are you here to chat with my wife or do you have something for me?" asked Peña as he looked at the papers in his hands.

"Both actually. It's rare that I see Y/N. The last time I saw you, you weren't even showing." said Murphy as he put the folder on Javier's desk then he turned back to you.

"I would like a boy, but Javi wants a girl. And we decided for it to be a surprise."

"Well, I have to go now, Mrs. Peña. Duty calls."

"Of course, it was nice seeing you Murphy."

And with that, it was the two of you again.

"I should go home. I have dinner to make and a book to read." you said as Javier walked around his table to hug you. You placed your hand onto his chest. "I will see you later tonight, try not to be too late." you said as you grabbed his neck to pull him down for a kiss. "I love you and be safe."

"I love you too, both of you." he said before he once again leaned down to kiss your lips.

He watched as you smiled and turned to leave, grabbing your bag and opening his office's door.

You turned around one last time to give him a small wave and blow him a kiss.

As you walked away Javier leaned against his doorframe, watching you.

He noticed the people watching you then after you left, all eyes turned to him.

"Don't you have work to do?" he asked with an annoyed voice as he rolled his eyes.

He went back to his work, closing the door behind himself. He was smiling like a madman. Thinking how homey it felt to have you there, bring him food and his keys.

Even if he knew this little visit would keep all the people wondering who the mysterious woman was.
