"Girl what the hell is wrong with Liv?" Lani said while showing me her phone.
I looked and she had posted something of snap saying "I don't need that type of energy right now fuck all y'all." I scrunched my face up and shook my head.
"I don't know. I mean I haven't been at home for a while but I don't think I missed that much." I said. "Let's go find out tho."
We all got up from Willow's bed and put on some shoes and drove to my house.
When we walked in I heard my mom yelling and Liv crying. I tilted my head and walked into the kitchen to see Liv with her head on the counter and Ryan with his head in his hands.
"I should've knew that bitch was gon do that shit." My mom yelled and I looked down to see some papers in front of her.
"Ma what are these?"
"This bitch tryna take us to court saying that we took Olivia away from they and they want us in jail for kidnapping." She said and I tilted my head.
"What the hell? They can't do that!" I said and my mom shook her head.
"Actually they can. We don't have any documents on Liv. We don't have any proof of us adopting her or anything." She said while dropping her head and I shook my head.
"Mama please don't let them take me back. I hated it there." Liv said and I saw my moms face soften.
I knew this was getting to her bad for the simple fact she knew what it felt like to be mentally, physically, and emotionally abused.
"Look baby. We not gon let you go that easy. You are family. We gon fight for you until we can't anymore. All your parents can really tell that judge is our past." She said. "I don't know how we're going to win this case but we got you okay?" She said and Liv nodded.
Liv paused. "You know what. I have proof of my dad abusing me and my mom knowing." She said and my mom looked at her.
"Yes. I need that. Send me your proof and I'll call me and Dave's lawyer. We got this okay? Trust me." She said.
