i stop walking and look at him, "it's okay really. it's not even that deep seriously. i mean i did the same thing so, karma i guess." i shrug my shoulders and chuckle a bit.

"so am i" i say, opening the door to the gas station. "you're an odd one you know." he laughs.

"bitch we been knew, this ain't new information!"

mattia and i roam through the aisle a little bit in search for some snacks or candy that we or the rest of the group would possibly enjoy. since we couldn't find anything, we just got the energy drinks and regular snacks and candy we would usually get.

"i missed this, a lot actually. more than i'd like to admit" i smile, "really?"

"well yeah did you not hear me tell maria that i was still in love with you? i mean yeah we've been through shit but that doesn't mean i ever stopped loving you." i sigh, "you can't just turn off or cancel the feelings you have for someone. especially someone you genuinely love and can find happiness with. and i'm gonna stop talking now cause i'm rambling and this sappy shit really
isn't for me" i finish.

mattia looks at me in disbelief. he couldn't believe it.

the girl he'd been in love with for so long finally stopped being selfish and accepted her feelings for him. what did this mean for them? who knows.

but all he knew was that he loved her, and she loved him.
