Part 19: Train Ride

Sirius's POV:

I followed Rose and the rest of the crew into the last couple of compartments. They had connected, so that way we could fit everyone together. Rose sits by the window on the left side facing the front of the train, and Hermione sat across from her. It went Rose, Lily, James, Fred, George, Ron, Regulus, me, Remus, Ginny, and Hermione. Everyone else was at the Burrow, at their own place, or with their friends. Once everyone was seated I noticed that Crystal and Hedwig weren't here.

"Hey, Rose where is Crystal and Hedwig?" I question her.

She smiles and points out side. I see them flying off into the distance. I look back her and see her smirking. Just then the train whistle blows and it starts moving.

"How do we get home?" James asks when he sees me staring.

"Well we will apparate when we get off the train." Rose answered before I could even open my mouth.

Everyone then brakes off into their own conversation. Regulus, and Ron talking about Quidditch. The girls, and Remus are talking about books they have read, and are going to read. The rest of us are talking about pranks that we have pulled at Hogwarts.

"We are almost at Kings Cross, I want mom and dad to come with me last. I would like to surprise them with where we live." My mate said.

"What about the rest of us?" Hermione asked what everyone was thinking.

"Well, Sirius will take Regulus, Uncle Mooney will take Hermione. The Weasleys and Prewitts will meet us there after a couple of weeks. By the way Ron, Ginny, how is the new place working out for your family?" Rose asks looking over towards Ginny and Ron.

"It's more than we ever expected thank you." The twins answer for the younger two.

"I didn't know that your names were Ron and Ginny?" Rose says sarcastically.

It was silent for about a second then we all burst out laughing. The laughter died out as we reached the platform at Kings Cross station. We get up, grab our stuff, and follow everyone out of the train. The four youngest of the Weaslys run over to their family. We follow more slowly. Rose grabs my arm and waits until everyone is talking with the red headed family.

"What's the matter?" I ask her as I noticed that she is looking down, and her hair turning pink.

Before I know it she is kissing me. As soon as she pulls back she blushes and catches up with the others. I chuckle and walk over to the others. As I walk up to Rose I turn her around and kiss her. Everyone around us starts to cheer except one.
