Part 17: Waking up

James' POV:

In the morning when I wake up, and I cast a tempus charm, and see that it is eight in the morning. I then look over to see that Remus is still sleeping. I then turn my head over to look at Sirius' bed, but it was empty. I think nothing of it, so I get up get dressed. I then notice that Remus is still sleeping, so I decided to wake him up.

"REMUS GET YOUR BUTT UP NOW!!!"

Remus shoots out of bed with a terrified look on his face. I look at him and start laughing, because his hair is all over the place. He just glares at me, and starts getting ready.

"Where's Pads at?"

"Probably sleeping with Rose."

I stare at him for a moment, and then take off running. When I enter my wife's and daughters room, I see a sleeping Lily, but no Sirius or Rose. Lily then starts to wake up, she's looks around and sees me and smiles, and I smile right back.

"Where's Rose and Sirius?"

"Padfoot came in last night, woke up Rose, and then went downstairs to the common room."

"How do you know this?"

"I was about to go back to sleep after a midnight bathroom break, when I heard the door to the room open and shut. They didn't say anything they just got up, and went down to the common room to talk."

Just then Mooney comes in laughing. Lily and I look over at him confused. Lily then grabs her stuff and goes and gets ready.

"Remus what is so funny?"

"Follow me."

Lily and I look at each other, and follow Remus to the common room. We look down at the couch and see a sleeping Rose and Sirius. Sirius has his arm protectively around her and Rose has a smile on her face. Just then Rose starts to wake up, and look around. When she sees us her smile gets bigger than the one she was asleep with.

"Morning Mom, Dad, and Remmy. What time is it?"

"It is eight in the morning."

"Okay, I am going to get changed then I will wake Sirius up."

A few minutes later Rose comes back down from changing and smiles at us.

"Time to wake sleeping beauty over here. Oh you might want to cover your ears. This might wake the whole tower."

We look at her and then cover our ears. She leans over Sirius, smirks then screams. He shoots straight up screaming.

"Why would you do that?"

"I wanted to, by the way your scream like a girl."

After that we all laugh. When we calm down we look up and see Ginny, Ron, Hermione, Fred, and George. They look like they had just woken up except the twins who look like they have been up for a while.

F-"What is with-"
G-"all the screaming?"

"Rose decided to wake me up by screaming in my ear. She scared the living day lights out of me."

"You guys should go up and get ready, so that way we don't miss the train. Mom, Dad you don't have to worry about your stuff. It is with my stuff in my trunk. Hedwig is leading Crystal to the cottage."

The others going up to their rooms and get ready. Sirius goes upstairs and gets dressed. When he leaves Rose changes into a husky, and in the corner of the room. She lays down and whimpers, just then Sirius comes down, and looks in the corner where Rose is. He sits down, sits down and starts whispering in her ear. She nods, changes back, and walks over to Lily and I.

"Can I talk to guys outside by the lake before we leave?"
