Part 16: Memories

Sirius' POV:

After Rose and Lily went to bed James, Remus, and I said goodnight to the others and went to bed ourselves.

"Anything about my daughter I should know about?"

Remus and I look at each other and then look back at James.

"What do you know so far?"

"Well, she is Sirius' soulmate, she is a werewolf, a metamorphagus, she can turn into different types of animals, She owns a place called Lily's Home for Magical Children, she likes to cook, garden, sing, dance, read, puzzles, mysteries, art, exercising, she loves white, animals, Quidditch, strawberry milk, pranks, chocolate covered fruit, adventures, she is caring, she knows many languages, and instruments."

"Well that sums her up in a nutshell."

"When Lily and I 1st met her she said the the Dursleys were not the worst, but not the best either. Then she showed us her scars from them, I guess what I am trying to ask is what really happened to her?"

"From what I gather is she was treated like a slave. She was beaten for everything and nothing at the same time. She was starved and lived in a cupboard under the stairs until she was ten. When she had got her letter, she sent one back asking for someone to help her. When Professor Flitwick to her to Gringots she had found out I was innocent, and was working on getting me freed."

"But you decided to escape, and she was pretty mad when she found out, and when she talked to you as human to human she really let her emotions go."

"Yeah, I am still scared when she gets mad or upset."

I then head over to my trunk and start organizing it, so that way I don't have to do it in the morning. As I was going through my books I found a photo of when we were in school. It was of James and Lily kissing, while Remus and I were gagging on the side. It was Pettigrew who had took the photo. I then start laughing.

"What are you laughing at?"

"Oh, just a picture of you and Lily kissing while Remus and I were fake gagging."

"Didn't that picture get taken after our final exam?"

"Yep, and then I shoved you and Lily into the lake."

"Yep, and as I lost my balance I grabbed onto Remus and pulled him in."

"Then Pads decided that it was a good idea to jump in the middle of all of us."

"Lily was so mad."

"Then you had kissed her to calm her down."

"I wonder who has a worse temper Lily, or Rose?"

"Rose."

Remus and I had said together, and James just looks at us and we burst out laughing.

"Goodnight Prongs, and Professor."

Remus groans and we start laughing again.

"Goodnight Moons, Padfoot!"

"Goodnight, Sirius, James."

With that we all climb into bed, but I didn't fall asleep until I changed into Padfoot. I then fall asleep.

<Time Skip>

I was woken up with a start, I was confused as to why I was startled awake then it hit me Rose. I get up and run to Lily and Rose's room. When I get there Hogwarts opens the door for me. I go in and over to Rose's bed. I start to paw at her to wake up. She wakes up screaming, then she looks over at me. We then go down to the common room. I change into Sirius, and sit on the couch. She sits next to me, and leans her head on my shoulder. We sit there for a while. I know she will tell me what her nightmare was about when she is ready. About five minutes later she sits up.

"I was in the living room with mom and dad. Dad was playing with color full smoke. It was after you had left. Mom had just lifted me up to go to bed, and dad had tossed his wand off to the side. Then the door was blasted off it's hinges. Dad had told mom to take me and run. She took me to the nursery, and put stuff infront of the door to block it. Mom had told me that she and dad loves me, and to be brave, safe, and strong. Coldywarts come in and mom begged and pleded for my life. He had killed her, and then tied to with me. Then Uncle Sev came in and cried, begging to bring his sister back. He then left, then you came, and you know what happened after that. It then changed into Remus, Dad, Mom, and you saying that you were disappointed in me. You had also told me that you didn't love me anymore, and that I was a terrible soulmate. That's when I had woken up."

She looked down, I then heard sniffles, and I pulled her so that she was leaning on me.

"We are not disappointed in you, in fact we are very proud of you. I very glad that I am your soulmate. I love you to the moon and back. You are definitely not a terrible soulmate."

I leaned my head down on hers. I turn my head just a little and kisses the top of her head. We sat in silence, after a few minutes she pulls her feet onto the couch, and lays her head on my lap. I then feel her breathing even out and I knew she had fallen asleep. I smile a little then at her. I then move her a little, so that way I could lay down next to her. She then snuggles closer to me. I laugh a little, and close my eyes.

"Goodnight love."
