I was right.
Here I am, standing in front of this shop, while she's next door conducting a hilarious business over bloomers, of all things. I'm standing here, and now I'm going in, and she has no idea.
I might regret this, yes, but I'd regret not taking the risk far more.
I think that's my plan. It must have been already formulated this morning, when I lay next to her, stroking her warm cheek and shoulder until she woke. It must have been there already as I washed her skin and dressed her, and surely it was there when I spent minutes wandering lost in her smile over the tea she'd made for us. I'd had to have it nailed down before any of that, because when I arrived here, I'd already had the item I needed in my pocket, and its purpose was clear in my head.
I was definitely right, because it's already far too late for me.

Next REGULAR chapter is almost done! It's a tricky one to craft, so I'm making sure I have it just right. I hope you don't mind these little tidbits, as they're definitely not filler within the context of the story. Stay tuned!
