I looked at the two guys, backing away from the two. The masked one looked at me, waving me other, "you will have to trust us, come with us" He said. "Fuck that," I wheezed out, walking into some sort of city house, the two guys having to further stave off the persurers. I looked about, a simple if smelly house. I pushed through, not finding anything of interest to loot off.
I pushed out off the back door, having to jingle it open, out in front of me was an alleyway. I started jogging down, soon finding some clothes that were on a clothesline, "A bit too high for me to reach right now" I thought to myself as I looked about as I went further down, I then I noticed a manhole.
"Let's see if the cliches are actually worth something" I thought to myself, heaving up the metal lid, thanking all the training I was forced myself to go through. I heaved out a sigh and breathed in as I leaned in the manport. I instantly regretted that.
A smell fouler than anything the portajohns made back home. I took off my shirt and instantly made a scarf out of it. "Much better" I thought to myself. I slipped down the hole, grunting with effort as I pulled the lid over me.
I slowly went down the ladder, thanking past me for using my shirt as a bandanna. The stink was tolerable, which made moving in complete darkness something I could deal with. "I wish I had a flashlight with me, they dont have any lighting that I can see to use." I thought to myself.
So being blind as a bat, it took me almost a full minute to get down the ladder, "and walking through the sewers was also going to be a complete hassle to explore this area" I thought to myself.

My stomach growled, causing me to wince, a day must've passed by the seems of it, the hunger I felt was something I had grown used to before, though it really did make me a bit anxious for something to happen. My hand went against the wall, both holding me up and a way for me to see where I am at.
I pushed up against a spot and it slow gave in, making me grunt in surprise, somewhat falling into my arm, my strength dwindled far from what it was at the beginning. It took me a minute to fully get back my balance.
I was now standing in front of the area that gave in. I lightly touched the area, wary of it being some weak spot that would fall due to "some structural dumbfuckery" as my squad captain had called it.
My hand pushed through, the feel very much akin to the borax slime I used to make, if a bit stiffer and warmer. I decided it was worth the wild risk of what ever was on the other side to just dive in, and boy wasn't that interesting.
