I took a much needed turn, thanking all my training the forced me to step silently on stone out of habit, which was probably quite enough for this little situation since the two persons walking towards me were in a conversation just loud enough to cover my footsteps.

I slid a bit down, listening to their movements, I could only get so much out of what they were saying, their tones seemingly irate. Their feet skidded to a stop, my guess was that they were now at the scene of my improvised escape entrance. The person furthest from me slammed his foot accompanied by a "What the fuck!" I sighed a bit, hopping that the two would want to investigate the scene further.

There was a small flash of lights, something a kin to the rainbow that came out of a glass prism. I then heard the two enter the room, after the descent slamming noise of, what I could only guess, was the contraption I made. "Which means this horrible screeching noise is probably the two pushing the thing out of their way" I thought to myself. I then was left to my lonesome, waiting for them not to randomly pop out, which was apparent since they started a small spat as the two rummaged through the mess I created.

Gathering up my courage, I got up and started a quick-step out of there, hoping to fucking anyone that they wouldn' pop out and find me. The wishes were also accompanied with me almost whip lashing my neck as I went away the two. A small shot of anxious glee would supply me, the source of the fear were these new kind of people, similar to the Slaving South back from my personal world - a pang of homesickness hit me just then. "I hope we are winning now, I didnt exactly leave my comrades on a winning note." I thought to myself glumly a couple minutes later, a small fire reached that regret.

"I need to find a way back home, they need me there" I thought to myself
