~THE NEXT DAY~

I woke up and saw the keepers taking Ben to the entrance of the Maze. The Gladers followed the keepers. Thomas started walking with me to see what's happening. I realized they were banishing him.

Thomas whispered to me "what's happening?"

I whispered to him "he's getting banished.."

Thomas whispered "banished? For what?"

I whispered "I don't know, I went to sleep after what happened.."

The keepers held stick things at Ben and kept moving them closer to him forcing him to move closer into the maze. The doors started closing the keepers kept going until Ben was in the maze. A couple seconds later the Maze doors closed. Newt saw me just standing there scared and surprised by what just happened, he came over and hugged me Thomas left

Newt said "hey it's okay...it had to be done..."

I said "w-why?"

Newt said "love he tried to kill you and Thomas... it had to be done...I'm sorry you had to see that. Are you okay?"

I said "I-I'm fine"

Newt said "are you sure? You know you can tell me"

I said "yea I'm sure and I know"

Newt said "I love you April"

I said "I love you too Newt"

I kissed Newt on the cheek

I said "you should go back to work. I don't want you getting in trouble because of me.."

Newt said "okay.. I'll see you later, I love you"

Newt kissed me

I said "I love you more"

I started walking away before Newt could answer. I went to the tower and just sat down letting my feet swing off the edge. Thomas came up

I said "hey Thomas"

Thomas said "hey April, you should really be careful you could fall or get hurt."

I said "no I wo-"

Someone interrupted me. I looked down and saw Gally

Gally said "April can I talk to you?"

I said "what do you want Gally?!"

Gally said "April just come down so I can talk to you"

I said "ugh fine"

I rolled my eyes. Then got down from the tower I stayed a few feet away from Gally just to be safe.

Gally said "April I'm sorry for hurting you. I really didn't mean to-"

I interrupted Gally

I said "if you didn't mean to you never would've done it."

Gally just looked at me

I said "why do you hate me?"

Gally said "I don't hate you.."

I just looked at Gally surprised

Gally said "I just wanted to say sorry for hurting you and was wondering if you wanted to try to be friends..."

I just stood there shocked. Gally started walking away
