- "I... Don't know..." she said. I stare at her face, my eyes narrowing. She hates me, at least, it seems so... She returned my glare.
- "You better decide soon," I said, leaning against the wall of the tunnel. I don't really want her to be a swords man but... I sighed... Volga did say to try to get people on my side. I looked back at Naeva.
- "Fine," she mumbled, her eyes turning away. She faced the outward tunnel and stared ahead. "I'll do it."
-A small smile crept across my face. So predictable... I chuckled slightly. She turned back to me, tilting her head slightly.
- "What the heck is so funny?" she asked, her arms tensing up.
- "You," I responded. I saw her eyes widen and a scowl appear across her dark face.
- "If we are done here, I would love to get started," she grunted as she turned around, her arm twitching from where it's at. I bet she's fighting to punch me. The nerve.
- "Ok. Let's go," I said, grabbing her arm and pulling her in. She immediately pulled away with a disgusted look across her face.
- "Just because you're going to teach me how to do this, doesn't mean that we're friends," she said, "I don't like you. We're not friends."
-Heh... a challenge I assume. "Will we ever be friends though?" I asked innocently, knowing her answer will depend on her emotional state.
-Her mouth formed a small straight line, muscles tensing and untensing. I tilted my head, still putting on the innocent persona, seeing how far I can go with this tangent.
- "No." she growled; walking passed me.
-I followed her hiding my smile. This will be an interesting dynamic. Maybe I can actually convert her and make all the blame stick on her. My smile slowly fell away as I stared at her. Something about her seemed familiar and... just friendly. What are you thinking Link, why would this random girl who you just decided to teach seems familiar? That's just dumb. I shook my head and ran after her.
- "So, what should I do 'teach'?" she asked, making fun of our situation.
-I smiled. "We're going right here," I responded, pointing to the basket of wooden swords. I saw her face change for a split second. Excitement... maybe...? She kept her cool exterior and walked over to the basket. She took out a wooden sword and swung it a few times. She put it back with a weird look on her face and turned back to me.
- "Should I...?" she asked, motioning to the basket. I nodded and she grabbed a slim wooden sword. Her eyes narrowed in slight concentration as she carefully swung it around.
- "Does it seem okay?" I asked, knowing she could be trying to find a balanced sword. My words broke her concentration and she looked at me. She nodded.
- "Yes, it seems okay," she said, "but when are we going to get to the part where we..." she trailed off. "I don't know... fight?"
-I tried to hold back my laughter but failed. Her face immediately went to a scowl as her hand clenched on the handle of the wooden practice sword.
- "Yes," I said, "we're going to fight." I walked briskly on over and picked up a sword. Somehow, I can always find the most balanced sword. I turned to Naeva, raising an eyebrow.
- "You ready to do this?" I asked, putting my sword in front of me. I saw a flicker of worry that dotted her eye. She nodded her head, determination running through her body and put the sword in the same action that I have.
- "HYAHH!"
