Three months ago, I embarked on this ONC journey. 35.129 words and too many litres of coffee later, The Last Werewolf is finished. I hope you enjoyed reading the adventures of Vidar, Mo, and Kira as much as I enjoyed writing them.
The places in the wider Antwerp region are real. So are the Velo bikes, the statues, and the skatepark. The creatures are based on actual legends and myths. Sadly, Vidar's bookstore doesn't exist, and I also took some creative liberty when Vidar went down in the sewers. I have to say—I learnt a lot about my own city when writing this novella. Once this pandemic is over, I can't wait to visit the places I researched using Google Maps and Wikipedia.
