Carson’s P.O.V.
All they said was, “Thank you, take a seat.” Just like that. We sat down next to each other, knowing that we were one of the lasts duets so we would have about one hour to wait till they came out and told everyone.
After the last duet Simon came up on stage. “Ok, so the judges and I are going to go backstage to talk and we will be back in exactly one hour to tell you the results.” And with that they walked away to a room. That hour was the quietest hour of my life. No one was talking in the room. With a room of around 40 people, that’s weird for it to be completely silent! It was so quiet that you could hear a pin drop on the floor.
All of a sudden the hour was up and the judges sat down in their seats. They called up the girls first....oh crap. Erica and I walked up there hand-in-hand and stood in front of the judges.
“Ok, Carson deep breaths it will be ok,” I thought to myself. They started off by saying the duet pair and they would step up. The judges then would say who got through. Erica and I were last natural....we both stepped up waiting for who’s name would be called....when Simon started talking, “Ok girls, we have been talking/fighting about you two most of the hour we had.....you both are amazing, but like I said we only need one powerful teen girl singer......but after thinking hard and long we decided.......
My heart was pumping so hard that it was about to explode. Come on just god damn say it!
Erica’s P.O.V.
Why won’t they just say it? GOD!
“We want to put you two together as a group.....” Simon stated. I don’t think my smile could have gotten bigger! Carson and I looked at each other and started jumping up and down! “THANK YOU GUYS SO MUCH. AHHH,” was want came out of our mouths.
“You girls are amazing and that song you sang was one of the best we heard in X-Factor and it is only boot-camp. We couldn’t let you two go!” Demi said.
“Thank you!” We both said and hopped off the stage.
This couldn’t have gone better! With that we are now going to the judges’ house!!

Carson’s P.O.V.
Today was the day to see if Erica and I would make it on the live show! We had been practicing for a week and a half like crazy! Simon gave us the song ‘Hurt’ by Christina Aguilera. It was such a good song and we were so happy when we got it!
It was currently 9 in the morning and we had to be there at 12. Erica had gotten me up by pouring water on my face, it was not very nice!! THAT BITCH! I’m kidding I love her! Anyway, we got ready pretty quickly. I wore a polka dotted tube top with high waisted jean shorts. Erica wore a shiny top with it tucked into a tight fitted skirt. We both were ready by 10:30 so we decided to watch some T.V. Being Erica, she turns it onto MTV to see the recent things happening in the celeb world.
-In other news, Louis Tomlinson in a recent interview has claimed that he is single. Eleanor and Louis have apparently broken up for a reason yet to be determined, but we do know that it was Louis who did the breaking up. He didn’t want to go into detail at the interview and made his way around the question of why he did it. So there you have it! Only one boy in One Direction is taken! Liam Payne! So ladies, the other four are single! Go get them!”
Our eyes bugged out of head! “THEY BROKE UP,” I screamed.
“WHAT?” Erica said right after me.
“I can’t believe this! I thought they would together forever! Now how am I supposed to focus on the audition today with this in my fucking head! AHHH,” I managed to say and not scream, except for the last part.
