The train whistled three times and then braked. Elinor Howell looked out of the window. Myroam still loomed large on the horizon, and on the platform the students were already starting to get off, impatiently. What was so interesting about this castle, when they went to Hogwarts all year round? "All the schools of magic can meet here! ". At least that was what Gavin Wood had assured her, but in reality, he was going there because William Shade was coming. Will, as everyone called him, was a member of Gryffindor House and had a certain reputation within the school. He was always travelling. Every holiday he went to a new country and every hour of freedom he disappeared again. Gavin admired him, but that wasn't why he had insisted on coming. He had questions, and Elinor had promised to get them.

Elinor put her wand in her inner coat pocket and sighed before picking up her travelling bag. Since this was her cousin's last year at Hogwarts, he was staying at school with his friends over winter break. The young witch was very close to her cousin, she couldn't imagine Hogwarts without him. She had friends, yes, but having Remus around made her feel safe. So when Gavin had asked her to go with him, she had hesitated. But Elinor was the perfect representative of her house, she was loyal to her friends and family. So when one of them needed help, she was always there.

As she left her cabin, Elinor saw Gavin waiting for her in the corridor. Next to him Robin McKinnon was waiting with him. The young witch knew only too well what to think of Robin. His family was linked to hers by her cousin's friendship with hers, but there was a darkness about him that never made her completely comfortable. After all, it was strange enough for a Slytherin to hang out with a Hufflepuffle, but two!

- You'd better pull your scarf tighter, it's bloody cold out there," warned her Gavin.

No sooner said than done, Elinor pulled her yellow and black scarf tighter and gave him a proud look. Gavin smiled shyly at her.

- Shall we go? I don't feel like walking to the castle...

- Just take your broom," teased him Gavin.

Robin rolled his eyes and smiled, still amused by his friend. The two boys got off the train first.

- He stayed in the shop to be repaired," Robin informed him with a grimace.

- Didn't it take the shock of the glide?

Robin laughed softly before shaking her head. Elinor trotted after them and soon noticed Gavin's amused look. She glared at him. Regulus Black and Ethan Vardar suddenly passed them by. She had never seen them separated. The two friends exuded a certain 'royalty' when they entered a room. Regulus was the epitome of his house. He always had that determined, haughty look on his face. He always walked with his eyes high. You couldn't help but feel inferior when he walked by. Elinor shuddered every time she passed him. She was convinced that he had definitely gone over to the dark side. She knew all too well the history of the Blacks not to doubt it. After all, Sirius Black was her cousin's best friend, how could she like Regulus when she knew his family's ideology?

-There you are! Enron Vardar greeted them as he joined them.

Elinor smiled at his arrival. Enron was a real entertainer, he always had a laugh and a smile that would make any girl fall over. But not her. It was impossible for her to see the dark-haired man as anything but a friend. And although he was a Vardar, she didn't doubt him and what he really thought. Enron, Gavin and her had been friends since their first year. Even though Enron was one of the lions, their difference in home had not kept them apart, on the contrary.

- Enron, did you see Will on the train? Gavin asked him.

- I didn't see him. To tell the truth, I didn't even see him in London. That said, just because I'm in Gryffindor doesn't mean I know what Gryffindors do every minute of their lives. That would be awful!

The two friends smiled as they were called to order. In a cart, Regulus and Ethan were waiting for it to fill up. Robin hurried to join them. Elinor saw Enron's eyes glaze over and Gavin's eyebrows furrow. She didn't question them further, but she had noticed that Robin was spending more and more time with the two friends, especially Regulus. It hadn't surprised her too much. After all, they were all members of the same house, and it was known that snakes kept to themselves, no matter what year they were in.

- Look, here come the students from Beauxbatons! shouted a student in blue and silver.

The three friends turned and looked up. One of the pastel blue carriages of the French school of magic fluttered by before landing.

- Their winged palominos are so beautiful! Gavin exclaimed.

Elinor smiled, knowing Gavin's love of animals. And as the students began to get out of the carriage, it was their turn to get into the carriage. As they sat in the carriage, the young witch saw a transparent barrier rise up to form a you and a small door. Curious, she put her hand down as if to try to get through it but could not. They were walls, but she could see out of them as if there were no walls.

- I understand that each school has its own part and it's like Hogwarts, you sleep in your own house? asked Enron. My brother tried to explain it to me, but I didn't get it!

- Myroam has nine towers for the nine schools of magic that come.

- Aren't there eleven in all? Asked Elinor.

- Two are too far away to come to Iceland," replied Gavin. These towers are bewitched in such a way that they respect the distribution of the school in question, he continued to explain to Enron.

- Oh," said Enron, disappointed.

- So you won't be able to sleep with the girls," teased him Gavin.

- You are silly, I was thinking of sharing the house!

The carriage started up by itself.

- Admit that you would have liked to sleep with Elinor," Enron whispered in Gavin's ear and he turned red.

Although it was meant to be discreet, Elinor heard. She pretended not to, but was nonetheless troubled.

- Do you think they have a library? she asked to change the subject.

- Do you want to work?

- No, but you must.

Enron's teasing smile fell into a glare. Gavin and Elinor could not hold back their laughter. The young Vardar tried to put on a brave face by provoking the girl, but his attempt only succeeded in amusing the three friends more, who ended up laughing all the way to the castle gates.
