Complicated-Kaz Brekker

Nadine woke up late,as she usually did and followed her everyday routine.She was always making herself look more than presentable,smelling good from all the perfumes made by Fabrikators,doing her hair and basically putting a lot of effort in her appearance.
After all of this,she goes down the stairs at the kitchen where she enjoys her Coffee and lights up 2 to 3 cigs.Just as she exhales the smoke out,she hears a very happy and optimistic voice and slow steps.
-What a beautiful day it is!says Nadine's boss,looking like some bussiness or plan went very well.
-Quite happy,aren't we?the girl cuts him off with her usual flirty voice.
-I hope you'll be too.We need to talk,the old man informs,while taking a seat ,having a serious face.

Nadine wasn't waken up and ready enough for any of this.And while her first feelings were fear and panic,she then thought Anthony was way too happy for something bad to  happen.She reassured herself just in time for her boss to continue the conversation.

-Come to my office when you're done here.I'll be waiting.

Kaz woke up angry at himself and his imagination.He had a dream where Pekka Rollins attacked him and the girl from Anthony s club saved him.Then,He kissed her.

Impossible,he thought.I can't be touched ,I don't know her and how could she save me.His fury was quite visible when he arrived early in the morning at the Crow Club bar,so visible that even Jesper was confused.
-Are you ok,boss?
But Kaz s next move,before giving an answer was taking a shot from the bar,probably Jesper's.
-No.
Before Jesper got to say anything else,one of the Club guards interrupted.

-Boss,there is a boy at the entry says he was send by Anthony Jeffer in order to deliver ,,Mr.Brekker" a message.

-Is that so?says Kaz,showing off a tough attitude,while in his head he was still confused by the dream and curious about the message the man he saw just the another night sent.He stood up and started walking to the entry.

There stood a young boy,pretty skinny and short,having dirty clothes''Anthony's type to probably help orfans or poor people "was The Bastard of the Barrel thinking.

-Good morning and sorry to bother,said the boy hesitantly.Mr Jeffer wants you to visit him as soon as possible in order to talk about something that he reffered to as"extremely important and urgent".
-That was all?
-Yes
-Tell him I'll come this evening.
-Of course,Mr Brekker.

Without even saying goodbye Kaz got back into his club,thinking only about what could be so important.It was quite exciting .

Nadine left the table and went up the stairs,extremely curious.While opening her boss's door,he already noticed it and ,wasting no time, he shouts:
-Hurry!Take a seat!I've got news for you.

News?What news could possibly interest or have any link to Nadine?
-So first thing I want to ask you is just to relax and listen. -this advice only made her nervous but was also a hint.It wasn't something bad ,but it was something that would cause Nadine to fight back ,just like she did 1 year ago when Jeffer came with that stupid contract.
-flashback-
-Nadine,your first performance was amazing but I'm afraid there is something you need to know.
-I am not what you are looking for and you are kicking me out.I get it.I'll pack my bags.
-No.Exactly the opposite.You see,if you work for me we have to sign a contract that you-belong here.
-That you're my owner?I don t think that s a good idea.Ain t gonna happen.
-Nadine focus,it's for your safety and protection.You re obviously more secured if the ones in control of Ketterdam know where you are from,who you belong to,but in the case someone kidnaps you I'll  have the right to take you back immediatly.
-This parts sounds good but,does it mean you are going to control me and make me do whatever you want?
-I'm only doing this for the formals,I promise.
-On a second thought,I'll have to read it first to see what it implies and then I'll agree.
