Angel POV

"Um.. the Joker." She bit her trembling lip as she responded.

Joker?
Who is that?
But that name does sound familiar.

"Joker?" I question her titled my head to side confused.

Amelia and Holly eyes widen and jaw dropped at my response. "You kidding right?" Holly laughed believing I was making a poor badly done joke.

I shook my head no as for response "You don't know who Joker is?" Amelia asked one more time before glancing at Holly in fear.

"The clown prince of crime? Doesn't ring a bell?" Holly asked with pure fear in her eyes gripping onto my shoulders hoping that I was joking.

Clown prince of crime?

Nope doesn't ring a bell but it does sound like I maybe heard of it.

"No, it doesn't. Should I know who that person is?" I asked them as they both gasped.

"Ah OMG She definitely going to die!" Holly shouted putting her hand over her mouth of shock.

"How don't you know the Joker?! He talked about everywhere around the city! Do you not watch the news?!? You must be naive or really stupid?!"Amelia insulted me for not knowing who this 'Joker' is.

Geez thanks." I thanked her sarcastically.

"He's complete psychopath in Gotham, he destroys, robs, and kill people all the time for fun! He completely run this city, because of him so many people are scared to go out night alone! He completely has Gotham under his hand and even Batman! Batman can't defeat him he always managed to find a way to escape!" Amelia explains, wow this 'Joker' must be the reason why Gotham is always dangerous now right?

"Ah I understand, he reason why Gotham reputation went down, and he's very evil man." I summarized what she told me as they both nodded in unison.

"Yes he's very evil man Angel, be careful around that man, he would kill you for no reason if he just want to... because he can." Holly face turned pale again.

I just stared at both of scared girls in front of me, unfazed and unbothered by their warnings and what could happen to me when I serve that man.

I sighed "How does he look like? What table is it again?"

"He the one with crazy green hair, white face and red lips and eyes. Trust me once you see him you know it's him." Holly whispered leaning towards me.

Green hair? The man that walked in earlier today?

I got in my tip toes to reached at small kitchen window on the door getting small peak of man that supposed go by 'Joker'. I saw him sitting on the leather couch with his legs spread open with his pretty girlfriend sitting on his lap.

He immediately locked eyes with me with evil smirk on his lips. "Oh it's the odd man with dyed gree-" I quickly got shut up by Amelia and Holly tackling me to the kitchen ground.

"No! Don't say his name aloud!" Holly shouted while covering my mouth with palm of her hand. I gave her my puzzled concerned face.

"Oh my God! He saw us, we're dead for sure!"Amelia panics as she pulled her knees into her chest slowly rocking her body back and forth.

How bad is that man? He must deep core evil if they got Amelia and Holly hyperventilating.

I heard the kitchen door barged open seeing boss with red face fuming with anger "What the hell are you guys doing on the floor! You guys are supposed to be serving the customers not playing on the kitchen floor!"

"Get your asses up and someone start serving Joker table! Cant you see we got full house tonight!? We can not upset the Joker or his gang!" He continued yelling at Amelia and Holly as they nodded their heads apologizing for their actions.

"Angel! I'm not paying for ass to be staring at the floor! Get your stupid useless ass up and start cleaning up tables and serving the other customers!" He shouted as I got up quickly patting my apron down making sure it isn't dirty.

"You wouldn't like it if I fire you now, especially when paycheck is in next week. I know your desperate for money." He grinned evilly as he walked towards me, I turned my head to avoid eye contact with him.

"I know your home isn't in best situation, especially your mother." He leaned to my ear as I felt his hot breath hit my ear. I gritted my teeth to prevent myself back saying something I regret.

I just need to get through this night and next week will free for me, especially my birthday coming around I get to spend it with my mother and friends.

"If you need some extra money, you should come by my office before you leave knowing how desperate your current situation is at home. I don't mind giving some extra money especially your my favorite employee here my sweet little innocent Angel." He tucks small strand hair behind my ear then back away a with disgusting pleasing face.

"Everyone get back to work! Or I'll fire you at this second!" He shouted in kitchen earring 'yes sir' from everyone.

"Angel! You okay? He didn't do anything weird to you?!" Holly run towards my way with Amelia behind her "Gosh he such a fucking perv, I wish he could dropped dead." Amelia shivers at the thought of boss.

Couldn't agree more with her.

"See! We can't send her to Joker way! They might take interest in her! She too polite and beautiful! They might-" I rolled my eyes at Holly still unsure sending me to 'Joker' way. I barged through kitchen door on my way to serve the dangerous forbidden man.

I don't need their protection or anyone protection here, I can defend and protect myself and know how to get out situations I can't handle. I'm not stupid or naive to understand. All I care is to get all of this to be over. I just need to get past couple more hours than I'll have whole week to myself.

I don't need to worry about school, work, boss, dad, mom, or anything or anyone. Just push through couple more hours Angel. Just be patient, helpful, kind, and keep smile on your face even if it's forced.

Just four more hours and please everyone here and everyone will be happy, right?
