Angel POV

I usually don't work on weekends especially Sunday because I have to check in my mother once in while since my schedule busy with work and school but I still have check up on her since the hospital allowed her take her home with us since she only have couple months to live.

She has been recently diagnosed with third level bone metastasis meaning she extremely fragile at this moment, if she makes any harsh or negative move it could break any bones where she made incorrect move in her delicate body.

The doctor has told me that she has only couple months to live so we decided it's best for her stay in Gotham city for cheaper hospitals care and services for her. I know Gotham is know for dangerous crimes but I was born here it wasn't always like this I just hope it crimes won't increase during the time I'm here.

Once she dies I'll have return live with my older brother in New York and don't have another reason to come back to this dangerous city. Definitely don't want to see my prick of my father anymore that one thing I won't missed after leaving this place for good.

"Mama? Me voy a trabajo ahorita, vay esta bien sin mi?" I asked her in Spanish if she's going to be okay without me while I'm gone.

I watched her weak sad tired eyes fluttered open and she gave me weak smile response with small hummed. "Pues me voy! Ve a dormir y decansa tu cuerpo." I whispered as I carefully kissed her forehead with my lips.

I gently closed the door behind after leaving the house and getting ready to work double shift tonight that wasn't looking forward to spend my whole Sunday night especially when I have school tomorrow.

I took bus to my job to stupid strip club again, I wished I could get another job that's high paying as this does but without creeping pervs running in this industry. I sighed as stamped my time card for my shift until 2 in morning but knowing boss he going to force me to work more hours.

"Prick." I whispered under my breath as I begin getting ready to serve the customers. I took off my sweater and pushed my belongings into my locker and locked it.

I took a peak at the small window on the door to see how many customers are here. "Woah the house is full tonight. Strange." I whispered as in awe as I see the people all around the club enjoying themselves.

I tied my shoes and cleaned my hands "Well get ready now! This my opportunity to earn extra tips tonight!" I hyped myself up in the locker room hoping no one hears me talking to myself like idiot.

I sighed in relief when I realized I'm alone and put my apron getting ready to serve the guest the entire night.

After couple hours past it's was almost midnight and the place was getting more full of people. The music was blasting through the roof, the strippers were dancing and seducing anyone they could steal money from, bartenders we're making drinks left and right with no breaks, and the people were drinking and smoking having the time of their lives.

I think I haven't ever seen the club get this full for the months I been working here. I continue serving the customers drinks and appetizers to their tables.

"Aye Angel order 392! Table 12 I heard chef Jin shouted as I nodded grabbed the orders and pushed the door open to exited the kitchen and enter the club side room as I place customers order on the table.
