The Hope I have.

I knew no place, My eyes were shut
I cried each night; I scream out what
loss I bore, my poor heart that sobbed
Alas! wish I could utter, that I was robbed

As days went by, I thought of how
My each day smile, that's ancient now
How I lost my joy, what my bliss did cost
To where wish belonged, and now I'm lost

Now that I think of it, what my life awaits
I’ll neglect the past, see what future creates
As I wonder upon, what each day costs
More than my loss now, I see I have lost

There's a ray I see, it brightens my day
Like sun that shines, gifts me new today
Holding my hand, I touch the sky
I Can feel my joy and love Pass by

There's a light that shines, ah! seems afar
It makes me believe in my each lone scar
Giving me strength, That's stronger than fear
And the pain I feel, says it is easy to bear.

As I ponder deep, and I wonder through
There's a thing I knew, with a thing I grew
Is it something called, through which I'll cope?
despite the loss I have, I ‘Il indeed have hope
