The darker side

I went to an old place where there was no one
I searched here and there but found myself alone
The trees were shedding their tears of leaves
And the sky was singing it's own melody
I wanted to ask is someone there
But I knew I would get music of silence
I wandered through each path each block
And wondered why did I come here first of all
The place looked as if it had been baked and rotten
And I asked myself God knows what creatures live here
It's every inch had such an awful odour
And then I said thank God I don't live here
The wind had its own rythym
God knows from which way it came
And he knows to which way it went
I was roaming around as a lonely bird
And saw something that got me dumb
I saw a girl and just not any girl
It was me but it seemed so unreal
She was sitting on a bench and shedding tears
She looked so filthy ,so dirty for God knows why
I stared at her and waited for her to look at me
But the time went by and she never noticed
I went to her and asked what problem is there my dear
And she softly spoke look what our earth has become.
