Ok so I'm not going to continue this story but I publish what I have of it. I apologize for the inconvenience, but this story bored me.
I will be writing a new one ASAP, still a Draco fic but I'm thinking about adding my own character.
Again, I'm so sorry! The full story:
(It's not edited or anything so there will be typos and random stuff)The blond grabbed me by the neck and held me against the wall. His fingers dug into my soft s/c skin. "Say it again." He growled under his breath. His face not far from mine, trying to intimidate me.
My lips formed into a smirk "When do I ever do what I'm told." He glared and threw me onto the ground, I rolled away. It didn't hurt, but it was a bit shocking and unexpected. He mumbled something as he stormed off. He was so moody. I couldn't tell what he said, but I could only imagine. It was probably one of his many insults.
As I got up from the floor, I stroked my neck as it stung with pain. I thought to myself, man that boy is always on his man period. I laughed to myself but winced at the pain that came from my throat. I hurried out of the room I was currently in. Pretty sure it was off-limits at this time since it was a classroom.
Thankfully, I didn't run into anyone else that annoyed me. I would probably end up killing them. Draco had already made my day worse. Well, he does every day. But I would never let him know that. I looked for her friends, but they were nowhere to be seen. Perhaps they are in the common room? I went to the dungeons, where the Slytherin common room was, and looked there as well.
Thank goodness.
I found my friend, Maria.
"Oh my gosh!" Maria dropped her book as she rushed towards me. "What happened to your neck! It's so red!" She lifted my chin to get a better look.
"I'm alright. It's nothing serious." I said with a reassuring smile. Although it hurt like hell. Maria didn't believe it though. She could always tell when I lied. She narrowed her eyes. "It was that stupid Malfoy, wasn't it?"
I couldn't lie to her since she would find out anyways.
I nodded, "Yeah what can you expect from daddy's boy." I scoffed.
Two other Slytherins joined the room,"Goodness.." The brunette gasped, "Y/n!" She rushed over. The other, just watched since he happened to be one of Draco's good friends. Blaise Zabini.
Ugh. Now everyone is causing a scene. I thought once everyone in the room all looked at me. "Pansy, I'm alright."
Pansy sighed, "okay, I'm assuming it's Draco." I nodded. "What is up with him!?" Maria and Pansy said in sync. I shrugged.
Flashback to year 1:
I was so excited to go to the school Hogwarts. The smell of everything around me. It was everything even more than I could imagine. I saw a lot of other Witches and Wizards. All sorts. I even saw a lot of owls, toads, and cats. A few people waved at me as I was smiling like an idiot as I walked by them. As soon as I reached the spot where I would depart from my mother, father, and my baby sister. I turned to face them and hugged them tightly.
My parents both were a Wizard and Witch so of course, I was going to be one too.
A smile grew across my face. I looked back at my parents and waved goodbye. Before I got on the train I looked back one last time. My mother and father both waved again.
I quickly found a spot to sit in a private room. I tapped my foot impatiently and repeatedly. My heart was racing with excitement and it felt like it was going to burst at any moment.
I was startled to see the door open. Two girls, about my age, joined me. Maria Thomas and Pansy Parkinson. Pansy, she was taller than Maria. She had brown eyes and brown hair. She was very beautiful. Maria was blonde and had green eyes.
"Hello! I'm Pansy Parkinson and this is Maria Thomas." She greeted me with a friendly smile, "may we sit here?" I nodded as they sat.
"Y/n Flamel," I said unsurely.
Pansy and Maria's faces both lit up at the same time. "You mean, you're from the Flamel family??? Like THE Flamel family?"
I nodded, "don't think much of it, okay?" I said shyly.
My family was extremely rich. My entire family line that I know if we're all wealthy purebloods. We definitely weren't a family to be messed with either especially since our past. We were very loyal to our family and didn't care for others. And we despised muggles, not me of course. I didn't care for them but I didn't see them as other purebloods did. What made us famous gave me a sick feeling. My grandfather and mother were magical assassins that hunted both evil and good Witches and Wizards. No one knew that though, otherwise, they all would probably be in Azkaban.
Although, many rumors spread around. Not all were real, actually, most were far-fetched and unrealistic. But some people believe everything that they hear. Me, on the other hand, I didn't agree with any of my family's ways. I believed killing wasn't right, especially for money.
I sighed at the thought of my family name giving me a sour reputation. I wanted to make my own, which would be hard because most people judge others before getting to know them.
Pansy waved her hand in front of my face. I had forgotten I was with them. "Um hellooo!" She shouted, "Earth to Flamel!"
I shook my head, realized I wasn't paying any attention to them. "Sorry, got lost in thought."
Pansy and Marie giggled, "you're alright."
I smiled, "and you can call me y/n."
The train ride was fun, so it went by fast. I learned a lot about them. They both came from pureblood families. They told me their interests and things about their homes. I did the same but I didn't talk much about my home. They asked why, but I simply changed the subject.
As soon as the train stopped, the three of us got off, we heard a lot of people whispering. "Harry Potter is here," they would say. Pansy and Maria both rolled their eyes, "Potter is going to be such a nuisance." Pansy scoffed.
I rose an eyebrow, "Harry Potter?"
Maria gasped, "you don't know who that is!?"
I shook her head, "am I supposed to?"
Pansy and Maria looked at each other in disbelief. Then Pansy sighed, "well, He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named tried to kill him but he didn't die and just got an odd scar, or something like that." She shrugged as she waited for my response.
I nodded, "huh, interesting." Although I had no interest in him, I thought it might be of use later on. In case I got into the same house as him. But I hoped that I would at least be with Pansy or Maria.
Soon enough the first years were about to be sorted. A lot of first years waited patiently for everyone to get settled in. Some were yelling or talking loudly and others hid in corners and avoided everyone. I was too busy looking at everyone and seeing who might be my future housemate.
"So it's true then." A blond boy said, "what they're saying on the train, Harry Potter has come to Hogwarts." He stood in front of another boy, with darker hair with round glasses.
He seemed to be thinking he was all that but surely he was just full of himself.
"This is Crabbe and Goyle." He smirked, "And I'm Malfoy. Draco Malfoy." He stated very proudly.
Once I heard 'Malfoy' I knew exactly who he was and his family. My family didn't fancy the Malfoy family much. Since we both were always 'fighting' to be on the top.
My attention switched to the redhead, next to who seems to be the famous Harry Potter, snickered.
The blond shot a glared at the redhead. "Think my name's funny, do you?" he furrowed his eyebrows, "well, no need to tell me yours. Red hair, and a hand-me-down robe. You must be a Weasley." He spat and returned looking at Harry.
I and some of the other first years all exchanged looks. We all were concerned for what may happen next, but it wasn't bad at all nor entertaining. Malfoy said something else but I paid no attention. As soon as 'Harry' seemed to deny Draco Malfoy's friendship. He walked away whispering to his two minions. "What a brat," I said loud enough for others to hear, which I quickly regretted. I caught the blond glaring at me, "Excuse me?" He spat, "And who do you think YOU are." He looked me up and down in disgust.
I let out a breathy laugh, "Flamel. Y/n Flamel." I mocked him.
As soon as I said my name his eyes widen. "You're not here to kill us are you?" He acted scared but laughed afterward. His two friends joined in laughing too. He had a proud smirk.
How annoying.
"Maybe." I smiled. "I was wondering why your name was so familiar."
His smile soon faded away. He looked at his two friends and walked away with them, whispering, again.
Pansy and Maria looked at me with a concerned facial extension. "For real?" Maria said frightened.
"No, of course not." I laughed.
And that was how my rivalry started with Draco Malfoy.
End of flashback.
After dinner, we made our way back to the dormitories. Pansy, Maria and I all walked together. With a few other Slytherins behind and in front of us. Maria and Pansy talked about some boy they thought was cute. He was a Hufflepuff, of course, they thought he was hot, he's older than us. I didn't like the other houses much. It could've been because I didn't care to talk to them, or they didn't want to because I fought Malfoy so often.
I saw Malfoy in the distance bullying some girl. When Pansy and Maria noticed they both looked over at me expecting me to do something. "What?" I asked finally noticing them staring.
"Aren't you going to beat him up or something?" Maria asked, sounding very sarcastic.
I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion, "why should I?"
Pansy breathy laughed, "because you always fighting with Blondie."
I smirked and nodded. I walked toward the blond boy. "Stop harassing the poor thing and pick on someone your size," I said confidently.
His eyes met mine, he shoved the girl to the side and she scrabbled away. "What do you want, Flamel?" He rolled his lip in disgust.
I looked him up and down, he looked like he had just woken up or lived on the streets for years. "Um, what happened to you?"
He rolled his eyes, "What's it to you?"
I laughed, "you're right, I don't care." I looked into his eyes, "now go do something better than this."
He scoffed as he rolled his eyes. I watched him carefully. He seemed to notice me staring since he furrowed his eyebrows. "What?" He spat. "Go on." He glared.
I had nothing to say to him, plus it seemed to annoy him. Finally, it was his breaking point and he shoved me out of his way. I fell on my butt as he walked away. "Ow." I exhaled as Pansy and Maria rushed over to me.
"Y/n!" They called out, "you alright?" They both grabbed one of my hands each.
"Yes, yes. I'm alright." I took their hands and they helped me up. I brushed my cloak off and I thanked them both as we continued to our dorms.
"Y/n?" Maria said softly. It was nightfall and everyone beside Maria and now me, since she woke me up, were asleep.
"Yes?" I answered, my voice very raspy and quiet. My throat hurt a little too.
She got off her bed and climbed onto mine. "I" she started but looked off to the side. She stared out the window. It was too dark to see anything but to her it seemed more interesting to look at than me.
"What's wrong?" I sat up and yawned. I looked at her green eyes. She looked extremely tired. Actually, now that I think about it, the past few days her eyes looked very bloodshot. And she was a lot quieter than her usual self.
"Maria?" I tapped her back softly and she whipped her head towards me. "Do you think I'm annoying?" She asked. Her green eyes started to sparkle as they filled with tears.
"What!" I gasped and pulled her close to me as I hugged her. She rested her head on my shoulder. "It's what..." she paused for a moment. "It's what Malfoy said, I'm annoying.. and I only have friends because I'm a pureblood."
I smiled softly, "no of course not Maria, I think your an amazing friend and a wonderful person."
She hugged me tightly. "Thank you." She whispered. I hugged her one last time before she got up and went over to her bed.
"Goodnight Y/n." I rolled over into my bed and clenched my pillow. I'm going to kill that Malfoy. What was his problem anyway? Why was he always picking on people who don't even deserve it? I knew exactly what I was going to do when it was morning.
Morning came quick. I got ready as quickly as possible. Maria and Pansy were just getting up as I was leaving. Maria and Pansy both looked at each other confused. I ignored both of them as I left the dorm room.
I walked fast. There weren't many people. Since it was so early, of course. Although, there were a few people out. When I walked past, they watched me. I had a very determined expression. I was trying to get to the Great Hall before a lot of people joined.
As soon as I realized he might not even be awake yet. I stopped right in my tracks. "Ugh." I groaned. I turned back around. "Forget something, Flamel?" Someone said. I ignored them and stormed to the Slytherin boys' dormitory. I helped myself to walk in. Oh, if professor Snape caught me I would most definitely lose house points, or get detention. I saw Zabini, he was shocked to see me there. I couldn't blame him though, since this was the boy's room, and I happened to be a girl. "Uh- y/n" he started. "Not now Zabini." I waved him off. Then stopped, "wait, which is Malfoy's room?" He looked at me puzzled for a moment before pointing to one of the doors. I thanked him and walked in without knocking and shut the door behind me.
Draco was standing there, shirtless, may I add. He looked so pale, but there was a slight pink. He looked fit. He spun around quickly.
"Ah!" I turned away and closed my eyes.
His face went bright red as he covered himself up. "Bloody- What are you doing here?!" He hurried and dressed.
"Are you finished?" I said without looking at him.
He grabbed me by the shoulder and turned me to face him. The top four buttons on his shirt were unbuttoned and I couldn't help but stare.
He smirked, "Like what you see?"
His comment shook me out of the trance I was in. "Uh- what!? No!"
He breathy laughed, "Your staring says otherwise."
He pinned me against the wall and he moved his face close to mine. I gazed into his silver-blue eyes. Wow, they were beautiful. My eyes slowly moved back down to his unbuttoned shirt, I couldn't help but stare, his skin was so smooth and perfect.
He put his thumb on my chin. He lifted my head and looked at my neck. "The red's gone." He mumbled. My eyes met with his once again.
"No thanks to you."
He smirked at my comment. He examined my face, for a moment he stared at my lips.
I gulped, "what-" he stopped me from speaking with his finger. With his other hand, he took mine. He slowly pressed my hand on his bare chest. My face felt hot, actually, everything felt hot.
I looked into his eyes again. I nervously bit my lip and tried to hide my flustered face. Malfoy seemed to be enjoying this. As soon as he noticed me biting my lip, he backed up.
"Don't do that." His sudden movement startled me.
"Don't do what?" He eyed my lips again. "Just don't."
I watched him back away and sit on the edge of what seemed to be his bed.
I had almost forgotten why I came there in the first place.
"Hey, wait." I started.
He didn't look at me or even glance but he let out an 'mmm' like he was listening.
"Maria told me that you said some pretty rude stuff."
He finally looked up at me and rose his eyebrows. "And?"
My eyes met the silver-blue orbs already staring back at me. He looked more annoyed than mad.
His response, and made me furious. He had no right to bully someone. Especially someone that was in the same house! Our house was supposed to be our family. Even though families might not get along, you still are in it together.
I eyed him for a moment before I replied. His eyes were like daggers stabbing me.
"Maria is my friend, and if you pick on her again, I will end you."
He snickered at my remark. "Oh, will you now?"
Oh, did that blondie make my blood boil. I had to restrain myself from attacking him. I wasn't in the mood for getting detention.
"Yes," I said before I turned to leave the room.
"Okay," he said a lot more cheerful than I expected. "I'm looking forward to it."
I didn't even have to turn around to know he was smirking. Ugh, I hated that smirk.
As soon as I walked out, Zabini looked at me. "So?" He said. I waved him off. It wasn't his business anyway.
Other boys in the dormitory watched me. I heard whispering such as 'what is she doing here?' And 'this is the boys' dorm.'
I smiled and waved at each of them as I passed them.
As soon as I was out in the hall, I remembered everything that had just happened. Draco had pinned me, and there's no doubt we were about to kiss. I, Y/n, was about to kiss Draco Malfoy, my enemy.
Wait, why did I think he was attractive!? And his eyes... Why were they so mesmerizing?
I groaned and smacked my face.
I hurried back to the girl dormitory where Maria and Pansy were waiting for me. When I walked into my room, Pansy and Maria both stared at me in disapproval.
"And where we're you?" Pansy rose an eyebrow as she folded her arms across her chest.
"Boys dormitory," I said confidently. I couldn't lie, of course, the boys would talk.
Maria furrowed her eyebrows in confusion, "and why were you there?"
I nervously laughed, "Don't worry about it, okay?"
They both looked at each other and somehow they spoke to each other without actually saying anything. A smile grew across their faces.
"So," Maria started.
"Who's the lucky man?" Pansy finished.
My face went red, thinking about what happened between Draco and me.
"Um- no that's not-"
Pansy laughed, "fine don't tell us now, but we'll find out soon enough."
I shook my head and hands. "What! No, I'm serious there's no one." My eyes darted around the room before I looked back at them.
"Fine," Maria said, with a very noticeable amount of disbelief in her voice.
The three of us walked to The Great Hall for breakfast. As expected, I heard people talking about me going into Draco's room.
I hoped that Maria and Pansy didn't hear, which I think they didn't, otherwise, they would've said something.
I nibbled on my toast while I looked around at everyone around me.
Finally, some girl, also a Slytherin, tapped on my shoulder. I flipped around, may I add the toast was hanging out of my mouth, "hmm?" I hummed.
She giggled.
I hurried and dropped the toast into my hands, "sorry."
She waved it off, "so is it true?"
This made Pansy and Maria look at me confused. But Pansy quickly got distracted by some guys who just walked in.
I gulped and acted like I didn't know what this girl was saying.
"You know.." She whispered as she looked over at Draco, who was already staring at us.
I sighed, "I have no idea what you're talking about."
She looked displeased, "Hm... okay."
She walked back over to her friends.
My eyes averted over to Draco's. He glared at me before he turned back to Crabbe and Goyle.
Maria cleared her throat. "So? What was that all about?"
I looked at her, she was slightly glaring at me.
Pansy's attention was on some boys from the Hufflepuff table.
"I don't even know.."
Maria rose an eyebrow, "sure." She took a bite out of her toast before she got up.
Pansy looked back over at us, "oh my gosh he's- wait where are you going?" Pansy looked up at Maria. Pansy looked at me seeing if I knew why. I only shrugged.
"Class. See you later, Pansy." Maria looked at me as she said that. She looked upset. Maybe she did hear someone say something about Draco and me.
"Uh- okay." Pansy waved at her as she walked away from the table. She spun around to look at me, "what just happened? What did I miss?"
I let out a long sigh, "I think I just screwed up." I rested my chin on my hand. I should've told them what I was doing that morning, but they would've asked too many questions. I didn't want Maria to know I talked to Malfoy about her either, she would've gotten mad.
Pansy seemed to not care, thankfully, but she knew something was up. She was oblivious but smart.
I would have to eventually tell them both, especially if they hear the rumor.
All classes were over. I had a lot on my mind. I had a D.A.D.A with Maria, but she wouldn't even look at me.
I attempted to tell her what really happened but she shut me up.
I walked outside for some fresh air, I really needed it.
Before I left, I snatched a book to read. I found a nice shady spot under a tree I could sit.
I sat on the soft grass. Before I started to read, I looked around at everything. I saw some birds fly around and play.
My eyes took everything in.
In the distance, I thought I saw a rabbit. How cute.
Finally, after a few minutes, I took my book and opened it to the first page. I actually had no idea which book I grabbed, it was just green, and green appealed to me.
This book was very boring. It was about some dead-beat Wizard from like fifty years ago.
I could see someone walking towards me, I got excited until I realized who it was.
Draco Malfoy.
I groaned as I hurried and pretended I didn't notice him.
All of a sudden this book became a lot more interesting.
Draco kicked my foot to get my attention.
"What do you want, Blondie?" I said with our looking up from my book.
He eyed me down, "why on earth are you reading that?" He said with very clear disgust.
"Why do you care?"
He ignored my question and sat next to me uninvited.
I turned to face him and by his expression he could tell I was getting annoyed.
"So," he started but I shooed him with my wand like he was a pesky fly.
He smacked my hand out of his way, "let me speak Flamel." He snapped.
I glared at him, "I'm trying to read, can't you see?"
He laughed, "sure you are."
Draco looked over my shoulder and starting reading the book. He snickered as he looked back at me.
"Okay, Malfoy what do you want?" I hissed.
He stretched his arms and yawned. He reminded me of a kitten. "Hear the rumors?" He smirked.
I groaned as I dropped the book down in my lap. Of course he heard the rumors. He's the most popular Slytherin. The corner of his lips curled as he snickered, again.
"Oh, you have. Brilliant." He looked up at the sky, and let out a long sigh, before he shot a glare at me. "Do you know what you caused?" He snapped.
"I-" I stopped to think for a moment. Why was he suddenly so angry? Seriously, this kid can't decide if he's happy or mad. I sighed calmly. "No. What did I cause?"
He looked very unamused, "Some people are saying me and you are hooking up. I don't want them to think I'd go that low." He scoffed.
I glared at him, "what do you mean that low? You think you're all that but no one actually likes you, Malfoy."
He looked down and said nothing. We sat in silence for a few minutes before he let out a long sigh.
He slowly looked up at me, "your right." He whispered.
Shocked, I was speechless. That was not the response I was expecting. I thought he was going to say some snarky thing about me. Just what was he thinking?
For once I felt bad. He looked oddly hurt at my comment. I watched him carefully.
"Flamel?" He said softly.
"Um, y-yes?" I stuttered.
"I- ugh. I apologize for saying those things to your friend Maria." He quickly whipped his head away from me so I couldn't see his face.
Once again, he shocked me. I opened my mouth to say something but nothing came out.
His eyes slowly moved back on me, he probably was waiting for me to say something but I just couldn't.
Plus, I wasn't the one he should be apologizing to, it was Maria. He's done some pretty awful stuff to me as well, but surely he would never say sorry.
I choked on nothing and coughed. "Yeah." I spit out finally. He only slightly nodded before getting up.
"Where are you going?" I asked without thinking.
He gazed down towards me. I saw a small smile grow on his face, but it quickly disappeared once he sat down next to me, closer then before.
"If you wanted me to stay so bad you can just say so." He slightly rose an eyebrow, expecting to get a riled reaction from me.
I nodded, "I guess I could've."
"Pff." He rolled his eyes, for once playfully.
I picked my book back up and examined it. I never thought I would be sitting here next to Malfoy, of all people, comfortably.
We both laid on the grass looking up. Neither of us saying anything. The silence was enjoyable. I took a quick glance at him and he looked so at peace. It was so weird to see him this way. He could probably tell I looked, because he's shifted his position.
Malfoy seemed to be so stressed lately and this was probably very relaxing, despite the fact he hates me.
I looked over again. He had a nice side view. His eyes were closed and his hair fell in his face. He looked so handsome.
He turned over to face me. He opened his perfect, sliver-blue eyes and looked into my e/c eyes. I turned over to face him too, there was no way he got to stare at my side view.
My hair fell into my face but I simply ignored it. With his left hand, he moved my hair out of my face and behind me ear.
"Flamel?" He said quietly.
"Yes, Malfoy?"
"Please don't speak of this, I don't want people to think we are together, 'kay?"
I nodded. I didn't really want my friends to think I was hooking up with the man who bullies them. Especially Maria, what would she say if she saw me now? I didn't want to know.
He scooted closer to me. I watched him wide eyed. He slowly moved his face closer to mine. I felt like I was drowning in his eyes. He closed his, and I closed mine as our lips touched. He pulled me close wrapping his arm around my waist. My hand made its way to his cheek. We both melted into the kiss.
I could feel the thousands of butterflies flying around in my stomach. My face grew a bright red. This was my first kiss.
He slowly broke the kiss. It felt like it lasted forever, but I wasn't complaining. He looked at me with kind eyes for only a moment before it turned into fear.
"I-" he sat up so fast it could've given him whiplash. "Flamel?"
I sat up too. I couldn't believe what just happened. There was no way this could've happened. I mean, we both hated each other.
"Umm, Malfoy.." I said nervously.
I grew a sudden insecurity, what if I was a horrible kisser?
Thankfully he was just as flustered as I was, or I might've cried if embarrassment.
We both stared at each other, trying to find something to say. Anything would've been good, but my mind was blank.
"I have to go." He jumped up and quickly jogged away.
