Y/N cradled Shiki in his arms.

Not that he wanted to of course, but it made him happy that foul attitude girl had a weak side to her.

She should know better than to show weakness to a stranger.

"Hey~!"

Y/N looked up at Yellow on the bed with him.

"How come she gets to cuddle with you and I don't?"

"She's afraid of the dark and this little lamp apparently isn't enough for her."

"I'm n-not afraid of the dark. I-I'm afraid of what's in the d-dark.", Shiki argued.

"You do realize I barely know you right?"

"Well y-you seem like a nice person."

A goofy smile creeped across Y/N's face.

"Me? Nice?"

"Uh, y-yeah."

Y/N leaned down and whispered in her ears.

"Don't regret what you just said later."

Shiki shivered.

She might have made a great ally or her worst enemy.

"Oi~!", Yellow yelled.

"Hm?"

"Move over and make space for me."

She moves over to Y/N's vacant side and presses herself against him.

"There! Now everyone's happy."

I wouldn't say everyone.

Y/N sighs in defeat.

He was not cut out to be a babysitter, but these girls where much better than her.

"Well, uh I guess its time for sleep...?", Y/N asked.

"Mhm", responded Yellow.

It seems that she was far ahead of him and already drifting to sleep.

Y/N looked at Shiki and she looked back.

"So, you going to sleep as well?"

"Uh, can we just talk for a little bit?"

Y/N shrugs.

"Sure."

"What kind of person was this "Six" girl."

Y/N pauses for a moment.

What kind of girl was Six?

"She was a survivor. Her wellbeing supersedes all else."

Y/N clenched his hand.

"Even mine."

"That's terrible!"

"Oh believe me I know."

"What are you going to do when you see her again."

Y/N looked at her.

"I wouldn't worry about a corpse."

Shiki stared at him in bewilderment.

"Y-You're going to kill her?!"

"No, that would be too nice."

She now understood what he meant when he said "Don't regret this later".

"You're terrible."

"No, I'm just the lesser of the two evils."
