Wrong Number ! Kimetsu no Yaiba {Zenitsu X Nezuko}

Chapter 1

(A/N: Hello there! Just a quick note, this will be the academy arc but I've changed a few things. Ex: Zenitsu won't be obsessed over girls, Nezuko is not in 3A that's the same class with Tanjiro and the other two, etc.)

Nezuko's POV

There was a loud knock on my door, which woke me up from my amazing sleep.

"Nezuko! Are you awake yet?" I heard someone shout through my bedroom door. It was my big brother, Tanjiro.

"I'm up.. why?" I replied sleepily, rubbing my tired eyes.

"It's the first day of high school for you, remember?" Tanjiro said. Oh yeah! Today's the day where I go to the same school as Tanjiro!

"Yep, I remember!"

"Get ready, we'll have to leave in a few minutes after breakfast!" I heard footsteps that were heading down the stairs after onii-chan said that.

I quickly got out of bed and went inside the bathroom to brush my teeth and wash my face. After a while, I wiped my face dry and got dressed into my uniform. It looked quite nice if you ask me. I combed my hair neatly and went downstairs to the kitchen to meet with Tanjiro seating on the counter eating.

"Ohayō gozai masu, onii-chan!" I greeted before taking a seat beside him on the counter.

"Ohayō gozai masu, Nezuko! Here, have some breakfast" Tanjiro past me a plate of toast with strawberry jam on top. "I'm sorry if you were expecting more than just toast with strawberry jam" Tanjiro said as he took another bite of his toast.

"Oh, no it's fine! I was actually expecting something simple," I replied and took a bite of my food. "Mmm, it even taste good!" I added while chewing on my toast. We both laughed together before continuing to eat finish our food.

After we ate breakfast, we got out of the house and walked to school. Not long later, me and Tanjiro were now a few metres away from school. There were many people wearing uniforms that have just arrived too. And the school was even huge!

"It's huge, right?" said onii-chan, I nodded back in response. We were in front of the school gates when I saw a boy with yellow hair, standing next to the pillar as he writes on his clipboard. He must be a prefect doing dress code check. That's what Tanjiro told me about a few days ago.

Zenitsu's POV

I was writing on my clipboard until I saw two people coming up to me in the corner of my eyes. "Ohayō gozai masu.." I greeted at them unenthusiastically, not looking away from my clipboard. A prefect's day starts early in the morning. Honestly, I'd like to quit. But no matter how many times I told Tomioka-sensei, he would just decline it and I had to continue doing my job. It's really tiring for me but I had no other choice anyway.

"Ohayō gozai masu!" The two of them greeted back. I looked up from my clipboard to see the boy in my class and a girl beside him.

"Kamado Tanjiro, right?" I asked and he nodded. "And you are.." I looked back down at my clipboard and searched the name before looking back at her. "Kamado Nezuko?" The girl gave me a nod too.

"Ah, you must be the new student I suppose" I said as I ticked both of their names in attendance.

"Yep!" Nezuko replied.

"Welcome to Kimetsu Academy. I hope you find your experience well here" I welcomed Tanjiro's sister as she gave me a "Thank you, I will!" in response.

"Hm, there's nothing wrong with your uniforms or anything so you two may head inside." I spoke in a monotone voice as I write on my clipboard again. The both of them left and went inside the school. Great, now I just have to do the same with the other students... This is exhausting.

Nezuko's POV

"Nezuko, we're not in the same class so we might have to separate here. But don't worry, we'll meet up in recess!" Tanjiro said when we were right in front of my class, 1A.

"Okay! Where do we meet?" I asked before entering my classroom as I look at him.

"On the rooftop, I'll see you soon!" Tanjiro waved goodbye at me as he walked towards the stairs.

"Hai! See you soon!" I waved back at him. I turned my back around and opened the sliding door to my classroom as I find a seat. I saw a girl waving at me and gesturing me to seat beside her, and so I did.

"Kon'nichiwa, what's your name?" The girl asked after I sat down on my seat and placed my bag down.

"I'm Nezuko" I answered with a small smile.

"That's a pretty name! I'm Makomo, and this is my friend, Kanao." Makomo introduced herself and another girl that was seating behind her to me. Kanao gave me a small wave which I returned back. She must be a shy person.

"My, my, there's a lot of students in this class than before~" a lady with beautiful long black hair with butterfly hair clips walked in and stood in the center front. Kanao even had the same butterfly hair clip as hers! I wonder if they're related..

"Ohayō, Kocho-sensei!" Everyone greeted back at her, including me. I heard of her before, onii-chan told me that she was his teacher as well. Kocho-sensei started to teach us the basics and welcomed us in the first day of school. It was going well so far, but I'm starting to get a little hungry as time passes by. It's almost lunch time, I can handle the wait a little more longer. Just a few more minutes and I can meet up with my brother for lunch on the rooftop.
