Chapter 9.3

Zenitsu's POV

Why did I do that? Why did I do that? Why would I do that? Did that even happen- Yes it did happen. Why did we do that-? I think.. I think I'm gonna die now.

~Flashback~

Nezuko's POV

I woke up early in the morning and opened my eyes. What was in front of me made me blush very hard.

Me and Zenitsu's faces were only two inches away. If any of us moves forward, there's a 99% chance that we'll- ... kiss.. WAIT KISS?-

I blushed more at my own thoughts as I stared at the yellow hair boy lying next to me on Tanjiro's bed. He looked so cute and peaceful when he's asleep, and I didn't want to wake him up.

I wanted to get out of bed and get changed. I could have gotten out of bed earlier if I need to. But, there's a slight problem...

He has his arms wrapped around me.

Don't get me wrong, I- .. I like his embrace but when I tried to back away a little and gently (yet sadly) move his arms away from me, but he would tighten the embrace and make me get more closer to him.

I couldn't help it but just stay, stare and admire the boy that I thought I'd never be into, into a boy that I'd actually kinda be into. I didn't want to disturb his sleep anyway.

His hair. I wanna pat it.

I reached my hand out to his hair and started to pay it gently. His hair was so silky and soft, it felt like I was patting a cute puppy. But then I noticed he was starting to wake up.

I stopped patting him and shut my eyes closed, pretending that I was still asleep. I was waiting for him to say something but nothing happened.

Just as I was about to open an eye to check, something touch my lips. It was...

It was his lips. THE Zenitsu Agatsuma's LIPS.

I opened both of my eyes in shock, not knowing how to proceed what's even happening anymore. I saw him open his eyes and he looked confused for a second, but it wasn't until he stared down at our lips that were together.

His eyes widened big and jerked away. And that made him accidentally roll out of bed and hit his bum on the hard concrete floor. It must've been really painful because I could hear the thump very loud.

I sat straight up in bed and looked at him. "A-ARE YOU OKAY??" I asked in a concerned tone. He just winced a little and nodded. "Uh-Uhm yeah I'm.. alright"

We both looked at each other in an awkward silence, still blushing madly at what happened not long ago. I started to clear my throat and he did the same, both of us looking away from each other, glancing around the room like there's a fly trying to disturb with it's annoying flying noises.

"I UH... I SHOULD PROBABLY GO GET CHANGE!"

"AND-I-SHOULD-BETTER-JUST-BRUSH-MY-TEETH-ON-THE-BATHROOM-
DOWNSTAIRS..!"

I quickly got out of bed and took my clothes out from the wardrobe as he took his toothbrush and toothpaste out from his bag in a flash and dashed towards the door.

"SEE-YOU-LATER-NEZUKO!" Zenitsu said very fast and left the room. I could hear his footsteps and he was running so fast down the stairs. After I found the clothes to wear today, I immediately locked the door and got dressed.
