[What Adrian's Car looks Like]
Dakotah's POV

When I got home, I sat in my driveway pondering over what just happend and I was asking myself questions. Why was he protective of me? Why did he care about the descisions I made? Did he actually kinda like me the way I did him? These were all good questions but I had no answers for them.

Since Mason's outburst, I kinda wanted to avoid him today; I didn't really want what happend last night to replay again. So I had a plan: Misson Mason.

It was a fairly simple plan. All I had to do was ignore Mason and all would be well; but something wants me to be near him. I just brush that off and get ready for bed.

Today was soccer tryouts and I was so excited. I really hoped to get Captain or Goalie. I wanted to looked presentable for tryouts so I packe a tank and some nike shorts with matching shoes. When I walked downstairs, Char was there to greet me again as I went to my car.

When I got to Science class as soon as I walked in, Mason was staring at me. When he opend his mouth to say something I just brushed him off and went to my seat.

When I turned around to borrow an eraser from Michelle, I saw Mason staring at something. When I followed his gaze I saw a figure. It was the same raven haired blued eyed boy from before.

"Class, we have a knew student with us today, Adrian Beck. Adrian, you can sit next to Dakotah. Dakotah raise your hand please."

I did as Mrs.Adams said and Adrian came and sat next to me. He whisperd something into my ear and I nodded.

When I returuned the eraser back to Michelle, I saw Mason staring at me, then Adrian, then back at me, this is going to be interesting.

Adrian's POV

Cambridge High School. Home of the Stallions. I didn't even want to go here in the first place but since my dad is the soccer coach and all, this was the next best place for me to go they said. I really didn't care but whatever.

I went to the social party on Friday because they wanted me to "be more envolved." But when I saw her. She made me want to go here. Dakotah, Dakotah Smith. Her beautiful dark chocolate brown eyes are so distinct, that you think they are black. Her brown hair that cascades down her shoulders. She made me forget about the whole Blake and Mason thing and, and just be.

When we talked on Friday, Dakotah told me about how she really wanted to be on that team. And if that means getting closer to her then that's what I'll do, not even Mason will stop me. And she will make the team.

Dakotah's POV

"Remember class to finnish your Limerick poems, also don't forget to do two of them! You may be dissmissed" Mrs.H chirped happily. Since lunch is one of the two free periods I get off, I make sure to change into my athletic gear and head outside to the vast Soccer feild.

For about five minuets, I sat there waiting for the rest of the tryees too show up for tryouts. While I was picking daises and making flower crowns, I heard my name being called.

"Aye Dakotah!" I heard someone yell my name and it sounded like a familliar voice.

"Hey Adrian!" I said back. We chatted for a litte bit untill the coach came and blew the whistle.

*whistle* "Sit on the ground in a huddle. Now!

Everyone scrambeld into a huddle and got quiet as the whistle was blown.

"My name is Coach Beck, you can call me Coach. In Soccer this year..." Blah, Blah, Blah. I didn't really hear much after that. When he asked us who wanted to be in a Captain or Co-Captain spot, onlly three of us raised our hands.

It was me, Adrian, and this one girl named Katherine but I heard she likes to go as Kat. I've also heard thats she's a soccer superstar and a force not to be messed with. I don't think my Soccer skills can add up to Kat's, but I'll try my best.

When the coach saw, he told us to put our hand down and we did.

Man, this is going to be a long practice.

Adrian's POV

When me, Dakotah, and Kat all raised our hands, I was shocked that only so few people would want such a leader spot. Sure it involves technique and maturity, but dang.

I hope that no one knew my last name because having a dad for a coach, everyone would think that you don't have to work hard to do anything. But that's not really true.

I just really hope to get to know Dakotah a little bit better than Mason or else it would have been a huge loss.

I really hope I'm doing the right thing.

Mason's POV

Why was Dakotah hanging out with Adrian so much lately? I mean, does she even know the real reason why he's here, or what plans he has right now?

Maybe I'm getting a litte jealouse or worried. Is that a bad thing? I need to talk to Dakotah ASAP.

**********

While I'm walking to my car, I see Adrian walking to his dark blue Ford F-150 and try to talk to him.

"Hey dude what's your problem?!" I say, I need to know why he's bugging her so much.

"I don't know man, what about yours?!" He says in the same tone.

"I just wan't you to stay away from her, ok?"

"Stay away from who, Dakotah, It's not my fault she prefers me than you."

I didn't say anything and waited for him to speak.

"You said the same thing with Blake, and look how that turned out. There was a reason she came to me Mase." Venom laced with his words and at that moment I lost it. I was about to hit him when I saw Dakotah jump right in front of him.

I stopped dead in my tracks.

"What are you doing!" She screamed. Her eyes where getting moist and I could see a tear about to fall onto her face.

When I did't answer, I looked at the face I could have smashed in. He was smiling and looking into my eyes with his now slightly darker ones. He wanted to provoke me in front of Dakotah so that she'd see the worst side of me.

If this is how he's wanting to paly this game, so be it. I'M IN.
