Chapter 2

It was night. Ishqi's Mausi called her for dinner while the former was busy in completing the paperwork from her office which had an added advantage as it kept her distracted from Ahaan's thoughts, though it was difficult.

"Aayi Mausi! ", she replied to her.

Closing the pen and keeping it on her table, she made went to the dining room to have dinner with her Mausi.

"Kaam khatam huya? Chal aaja khale", asked Mausi.

"Haan Mausi, Matarani ke kripa se ho gaya. " Ishqi sat on the chair and started having her meal with her Mausi being on her opposite side.

After sometime, Mausi noticed Ishqi being indulged in some thoughts as the latter was staring blankly at the plate.

"Ishqi? Kya soch rahi hai, beta? "

Ishqi's thoughts got interrupted which was a fortune according to her.

"Woh, woh.. Kuch nahi Mausi" Ishqi stuttered. "Woh toh main soch rahi thi ki kal kaunse gaane pe dance karun? "

"Haan sochle acche se. Waise bhi mujhe pata hai tu jo bhi gaane pe nachegi woh bohut hi accha hoga. " Mausi stated.

"Woh, Mausi aapko AVM ke girlfriend ke baare mein pata hai?

"Ahaan ki girlfriend? Jaanti toh nahi hoon magar suni thi maine. Jo bhi hogi woh ladki, bohut naseeb wali hogi. Ahaan bohut accha insaan hai!" Mausi replied.

"Haan, bohut accha hai! Itna accha ki kabse mere dimaag mein ghuske baitha hai! ", Ishqi made faces while muttering.

" Kuch kaha kya tune, Ishqi?

"Nahi nahi, kuch nahi Mausi. Mera khana ho gaya. Main sone jaa rahi hoon. "

"Par tune toh dhangse kuch khaya hi nahi!" Mausi exclaimed while piling up the dishes and heading towards the kitchen.

"Nahi Mausi, bhook nahi hai aaj. Aur aap chinta mat kijiye, world ke top class chef se bhi zyada accha khana aap ne banaya hai! ", Ishqi concluded while giggling and helping Mausi.

" Chal jhoothi! ", Mausi blushed a little.

"Aww, Mausi! Blushing haa? ", Ishqi continuing teasing her Mausi. " Not bad! Aap pe bohut jach raha hai. " Ishqi chuckled.

" Accha chal bohut huya, ab jaake so jaa. Kal phir teri Sangeet hai, jaldi uthna hai. "

"Matlab kal phir uss AVM ko dekhna padega. " Ishqi frowned.

She headed to her room.

Ahaan, Sonu and Kartik were gossiping while sitting on the sofa, after completing their dinner.

"Toh bol kal kaunsi song pe dance kar rahi hai? ", Kartik asked.

" Tujhe kyun bataun? Surprise hai! " Sonu replied.

"Arre but itna toh bol ki solo hai ya phir Raj ke saath woh couple wala? "

"Couple hi hoga na budhu, meri shaadi hone wali hai. Main thodi na akeli hongi ab se! Kyun bhai? " Sonu stated. "Waise bhai aap ka plan kya hai? Rhea ke saath dance karoge? "

Ahaan who was indulged in some thoughts, seemed that he couldn't hear anything. He didn't utter a single word.

"Kya hua bhai? ", Kartik asked making innocent face. " Rhea ke soch mein itne ulajh gaye ho ki hum aapko dikh hi nahi rahe? "

"Tu chup kar!" Sonu turned to Ahaan and shaked his hand. "Bhai! Bhai! "

"Ishqi! " Ahaan seemed to expect to see Ishqi but to his utter surprise it was his sister.
