Chapter 6

'Isliye Ishqi main keh rahi hoon, tum Mayank ke saath shaadi mat karo! Tod do usse yen rishta! Woh tumhe deserve hi nahi karta!'

Tears welled up in Ishqi's eyes hearing to Sonu about Mayank.
Gasping vigorously, Ishqi was able to utter a single word. "K-kya?"

To her all this still seemed to be a nightmare. Or even worse than that. Mayank, with whom she decided to spend her lifetime, whom she thought to be her life partner, whom she was trying to love was marrying her just for the sake of his revenge! How will she face her Maasi? What will she tell her? And what about her life? Her own life? The life she was thinking of spending with Mayank?
What was she going to do? What if she had already married him? Her whole life would not be anything less than hell!

Ishqi's vision got blurred.

Seeing her in such a horrible state, Sonu asked ,"Ishqi? Kya huya tumhe? Are you okay?"
Turing to Kartik, she called him. "Kartik!"

Kartik, who was also in a state of shock, woke up from his thoughts and replied her sister with a "haan".

"Jaldi Ishqi ke liye paani lekar aa. Jaldi!"

After drinking water, Ishqi began to speak,"Ss-So, So-Sonu! Sonu, yeh kaise ho sakta hai? Ma-Mayank, woh aise? Kaise Sonu?"

"Par, par main Maasi ko kya kahungi? Aur Mayank aisa nahi hai, par.."

Raj said consoling Ishqi,"Dekho Ishqi! I know yeh tumhare liye bohut difficult time hai par you need to accept the fact ki Mayank aisa hi hai. Aur rahi baat Maasi ko batane ki, toh tum unhe saach bata dena. See Ishqi, yeh tumhari poori zindagi ki sawal hai. Isliye jo decision lena hoga tumhe jaldi hi lena hoga."

"Yaar, Minky Bhai aise hai! Mujhe toh ab bhi vishwas nahi ho raha. Bhai ke best friend aise hai?" Kartik said in disbelief.

"Ab tu usse Bhai mat bula. Ek no. ka ghatiya aadmi hai woh!" Sonu said.

"By the way Sonu, tune Bhai ko bataya? Akhir unhe bhi toh pata chale ki unke best friend kaise hai!"

"Nahi Bhai ko toh abhi bhi bataya nahi. Unke best friend ke baare mein aisa sunke unko das hazar volt ka jhatka lagega. Aur abhi itna time bhi nahi hai humare pass."

"Toh kisi ke pass kuch plan hai? Minky Bhai mera matlab, Mayank ko expose karne ka?" Kartik asked.

"Nahi Ishqi! Tu itni kamzor nahi padh sakti! Uss lucche lafange ka sach aaj Shah Rukh Khan ki bolckbuster picture ki tarah sab ke laana padhega!"

"Mere pass ek plan hai. Agar tum logon ko thik lage toh.." Ishqi said.

"Arre Ishqi, tum jaldi se batao. Tumhara plan thik nahi zabardast hoga!" Kartik said excitedly.

Ishqi whispered something to the trio while Sonu, Raj and Kartik seemed to agree to her by nodding their heads.

"Yeh thik hai?" Ishqi asked nervously.

"Haan Ishqi, yeh bohut accha plan hai. Ab uss Mayank ko maza aayega!" Kartik said.

"Par agar koi gadpad ho gayi toh? Ussne mere saath agar koi bhi badtameezi ki toh?" Sonu asked with hesitation in her voice.

"Sonu, tum bilkul chinta mat karo. Waisa kuch bhi nahi hoga. Aur waise bhi Raj aur hum sab pass hi mein hi honge. Tum tension-free raho, thik hai?"
