'Tae Pyung, how are you?' My good friend Bin said as soon as I answered the call. I chuckled and I knew then that he wanted to ask the favor that we owed them.

Bin and Ye Jin Hyun, coincidentally with names the same as our screen names, were one of the very important persons who helped me in having my wife Eon Jin back in my life. When we had that one misunderstanding that almost cost me my family, Bin was actually the first person I called and asked if my wife and his had any contact for the past few days. It was then he knew that there was something wrong. Meeting him in a hotel and pouring my heart out, he was the one who told me to wait, and if there was nothing going on after the wait, I needed to take action. Indeed, I followed his advice and they even helped me to babysit our kids just so I can have that time alone with my wife and sort things out.

'Bin, dude,' I replied. 'I'm good. How about you?' I asked in a jolly tone.

'Well, the family's doing great. The kids are so happy with that weekend with Pooh and the shoot that ensued,' he replied. 'But, there is something that I need to tell you.'

I smiled. 'Is it what I am thinking?' I replied, teasing him and a laughter could be heard in the middle of my office. I glanced at the photo of my family which was on my table, taken from Jeju Island by a hotel staff whom we know was shaking as she took the picture. Good thing about image stabilization, the picture went out well and we couldn't thank her enough for helping us with it. And she captured it in great detail, as I was holding my wife on the shoulder by my right hand, while the left was on Pooh, standing in front of me. Lilo was held by her eomma. We were all smiles then, and we both realized that indeed, the two kids may just follow our footsteps soon.

'Yeah, apparently,' he replied, then let out a sigh. There was something that was off and so as a friend I wanted to know about it.

'Dude, what's wrong? Aren't you taking the wife to Tahiti?' I asked.

'Oh no, not now,' he replied. 'Maybe soon, but we'll bring the kids with us if ever. Ye Jin doesn't really want to leave them for long,' he continued. He let out another sigh and went on.

'We are actually going to a wedding of one of our friends, family friend so it seems,' he said.

I was wondering why he felt that way, when it would have been a wonderful event.

'And is there something wrong with it?' I asked, curious about why he reacted that way.

He sighed. 'It's apparently my ex-girlfriend's wedding,' he replied. 'Well, technically, she is not a girlfriend to begin with. We were just paired up by some other people, you know what let's not talk about it,' he said.

I understand, because I have never been comfortable about the topic of exes. I mean, I am happy with my life now, and they were all part of my past. Leaving them behind, and moving forward to another chapter of my life.

'Is the wife okay with it?' I asked, wanting to know what she had in mind.

'Well, she actually talked with her prior to giving the invites. You wouldn't believe whom she will marry,' he said. I wondered who it was so I asked him.

Curiosity just killed the cat. The groom's name was so familiar but I didn't even bat an eyelash to recognize who it was.

My wife and I have had some shares of heartaches, but then we decided not to talk about it. What's done is done and everything is alright. We both figured we really didn't need to talk about it anymore, thus leaving it all behind us now.

'Really? Well, good for him,' I replied. 'So when would this be, dude?' I asked, getting myself into a jollier mood.

'This weekend,' he replied. 'But I actually wanted to bring Ye Jin somewhere too so we might not be home for the weekend. Don't worry, my parents will come back and I could just ask a favor to bring the kids to their house at around six or seven o'clock at least?'
