I woke up refreshed, I had forgotten what that felt like. I could remember that there where nightmares, that was nothing new, but they seemed to stop. I had gotten a sudden feeling of peace. I didn't care that I was late for breakfast, I took my time getting ready for the day. I walked through the Gryffindor common room, it felt odd it was quite different than the slytherin common room, it always seemed to have a fire going. As I walked to breast fast I had an odd craving for French toast, remembering when my mum used to make it when I was a boy. Walking into breakfast for once the stares didn't faze me I didn't care I wasn't going to let them ruin the first decent day I've had in quite a while. Per usual Theodore had an empty seat next to him, a plate of French toast sitting on the table. As I sat down I could feel a pair of eyes on me, not the usual stares but something different so I glanced up. I met a pair okay blue eyes framed by fiery red hair. Her eyes strangely seemingly happy, not disgusted or irritated like the rest of the Gryffindors... No this quite Gryffindor was different.
**********************************************Elizabeth's POV******************************************
I looked away from the stormy grey eyes still feeling them on me, at least they seemed more refreshed, nowhere near completely better but still a little better. I didn't hold the same contempt that the other held towards Draco. Many others would have done the same for their families as he did, they just didn't want to admit it...
It was good to get back to the normal routine of school. It felt odd walking through the halls filled with laughter that, not long ago, was fills with the sounds of war. there where a few new professors this year, as was expected. yet things seemed to be as they once where.
The halls filled with the loud murmur of many voices, I walked briskly longing for the quiet of the library. The books a welcome site. I made my way back to my familiar little hidden corner, and read the day away.
