I woke up in Noah's arms. I smiled to myself and rested my head in the crook of his neck. I heard someone outside and guessed it was my mom coming to check in on me. I then realised that she was going to be so mad if Noah was in the same bed as me.
Sorry Noah I thoughts to myself as I pushed him off the bed and onto the air mattress. Noah sat up quickly, groaning
"What was that for?" He asked
"Shhh, pretend your sleeping!" I whispered, pushing his head down to his pillow. He rested his head back on the air mattress and closed his eyes, I did the same. The door opened and then closed again about a second later. I sat up and sighed "You can get up again now" I whispered
He sat up and crawled back into my bed. We sat crossed legged in front of each other
"You went to bed in your clothes" I smiled
"Oh well" He smiled back
"What's in your pocket?" I asked. He pulled out a box and opened it

"Oh Noah!" I put my hands to my face, covering my mouth and nose.
"It's a promise ring" He smiled "I promise I will never break your heart"
"I love you" I looked at him
"I love you most" He smiled. He took the ring out and placed it on my finger. I felt my eyes tear up and tears started slipping out. He laughed and grabbed my face in his hands. He pulled me into him and our lips joined.
"I knew you two weren't asleep" We both jumped apart and looked at the door
"Mom" I laughed
"What's that, hun?" She looked at my finger "HAS HE JUST PROPOSED?!" She shouted
"No mom" I laughed "it's a promise ring. He promised he would never break my heart" I smiled at him then looked back at my mom
"You two are perfect for each other" She smiled
"We are" Noah said with a nod, kissing my cheek, gently
"No funny business though" She pointed at Noah
"I promise I won't do anything without your daughters consent, Miss L/N" Noah smiled at her and she smiled with tears in her eyes
"Mom..."
"Yeah?" She sniffled
"Please don't cry"
"I'm not going to cry" She walked out of the doorway and I heard her crying down the corridor
"I can hear you!" I shouted with a laugh. She went quiet and then I heard muffled cries "Noah..." I said, putting my hands on top of his
"Yes?" He asked, putting his hands on top of mine
"Why did you have the rings in your pocket if you came here to break up with me?" I asked putting my hands back on top of his
"Because" He put his hands back on top of mine "I was going to give it you and say 'I promise to find you again, no matter how long it takes'" He smiled and I hugged him
"You know how to make a girl cry, Noah Schnapp" I smiled as a tear slipped from my eye.
"And you know how to make a heart broken boy fall in love again, Y/N L/N"
"I love you" I smiled
"And I love you" He smiled back and kissed me. I kissed back and-
"BREAKFAST!!" My mom shouted. I groaned and broke from the kiss but Noah pulled me back
"Not yet" he smiled into it
"But I need fooooood" I smiled and got up
"Fine, but I'll race you" He smirked and started running
"Hey! Cheater!!" I shouted as I ran after him. We ran into the kitchen and skidded on the floor to stop ourselves
"What did I tell you about that, Y/N?!" My mom said
"Sorry mom!" I laughed nervously. We sat down and ate breakfast, hand in hand under the table.
(A/N: I have a question... if you have a boyfriend/girlfriend and your holding hands with them under the table whilst eating, one of you is going to be using your weak hand. Like I'm right handed so I can't eat properly with my left hand. What would you do? 😂)
When we finished breakfast, we went into the living room. Noah sat down and I lay down with my head on his lap. He played with my hair and we spoke for a while.
"You know, Noah.."
"Hm?"
"I've been thinking"
"Now that, Y/N, is a dangerous thing" He laughed lightly
"I know, but..." I made a thinking face "will you still love me in the future?" I asked
"Of course!" He smiled
"6 days?"
"Yup!"
"6 weeks?"
"Yes, Y/N" He laughed
"6 months?"
"Yess"
"6 years?"
"I won't ever stop loving you" He leant down and kissed me. He broke the kiss and started playing with my hair again
"Noah"
"Yeah?"
"Knock knock"
"Whose there?" He asked
"You forgot me already?!" I sat up, crossing my legs and arms, pouting and making puppy eyes.
"Awww noooo!" He laughed. He grabbed my arms and pulled me over to him "that's not fair" He smiled and kissed me "I promise I won't ever forget you" He said, holding up my hand with the promise ring on. He kissed the ring and then placed my ring hand in his hand (that has the ring on) I looked up at him and smiled. He smiled back and pulled me into a cuddle.
