"Abbot, Hannah",McGonagall called.
The girl walked up to the stool and put on the hat "HUFFLEPUFF", the hat roared and the table were students were wearing yellow burst into applause and roars.
Lots of students were sorted none that peaked my interest until "Malfoy, Draco".
He walked up the steps and he to put on the old hat and it didn't even touch his head when it yelled Slytherin.
"Parkinson, Pansy", McGonagall said and with that Pans was jogging up the steps to try on the hat and after only a few seconds the hat placed her in Slytherin and the ones in green whooped clapped.
"Potter,Harry", McGonagall yelled and I was interested and was secretly hoping he would be placed in Slytherin where I knew I too would be placed straight after him.
"GRYFINNDOR", the hat yelled, oh no I silently thought.
"Potter,Y/n", she yelled and once more the Great hall broke out into whispers like they did with Harry. I put on the hat nervously hoping I would be placed with Blaise, Pans and Draco, oh how it would feel to have them make me laugh but it would be hard not being with Harry.
I knew we were too different to be together any way.
"Hmm very different, very different indeed".
See I knew we would be separated secretly even though I didn't want to admit it.
"Cunning, Ambitious, Loyal to those who are held close but not very good at trusting those distant or those who have deeply hurt hurt you. Resourceful too, what greatness and destruction you could cause", the hat spoke. "Let it be SLYTHERIN".
I knew it! The Slytherin table burst into applause and cheered louder than any other house did for anyone else.
"Nice one Y/n", Draco winked as I sat beside him.
"Good job", Blaise and Pans said in unison sitting across from Draco and I.
"Thanks everyone, oh and Pans your ties falling loose", I said fixing it.
AN: This chapter was short because I felt like last chapter should have ended where it did but next chapter will be longer and a little more interesting. Also the first two years will be rushed as there won't be romance straight away but soon and more importantly the plot in book one and two is significantly less interesting , Love Ava ;)
