'POTTER AND MALFOY'

_Third Person's Pov_

Y/n began to wake slowly in what seemed to be late afternoon. She sat up and felt a throbbing pain in the back of her head, as she looked around she realised she was in the Hospital Wing.

"Finally your awake", said Madam Pomfrey.

"Wait...we were trying to stop Quirrel",Y/n said as she remembered the events that lead her here.

"Don't worry girl, your brother stopped him and Quirrel is now dead", she said as she picked a few potions off a cart.

"Well can't say I'll miss him", Y/n said looking around when she noticed multiple boxes of sweets, chocolate bars and a bouquet of flowers. "Madam Pomfrey what's all this?", Y/n asked looking puzzled.

"Oh them. There gifts from your friends and your boyfriend", The nurse answered. 

"I don't have a boyfriend", Y/n said blushing. 

"Sure you do, the Malfoy heir always comes here and leaves you gifts and he ask for daily updates on your health. I've caught him sneaking in and sleeping in the chair just to make sure you're okay and not to mention that he just sits in that chair next to you while he holds your hand", she said smiling as she mixed the potions.

"Oh no erm... Draco is my best friend", Y/n said blushing. 

"For now, I think you better take the summer to work through your denial pet", Madam Pomfrey said bringing over a flask. 

"He really is", Y/n said shyly. 

"Here pet, drink this and you can go to the final feast", Madam Pomfrey said. Y/n drank the weird purple potion and was discharged from the ward.

She walked down the Halls and saw multiple students stare at her and burst into whispers. As she joined the end of the crowed waiting for the Grand Hall doors to open she noticed many people staring at her in awe. 

'But why?',  she thought but was immediately was pulled back to reality when she heard..... him.

"Y/n!", Draco Malfoy said spotting her. 

Before she could reply he shoved many other students out of the way to get to the girl he cared for most. 

"Merlin I missed you", The Malfoy boy said as he hugged her tightly. 

"Missed you too you absolute prat", Y/n said as tears pricked eyes, she was so grateful to have met Draco and for her to be the one he held closest. 

"Oh my, are you crying", Draco said laughing at the girl who was slightly teary. "

Oh shut it you grease ball", Y/n replied chuckling as she wiped away her tears. 

"Come on Pansy and Blaise are gonna freak out when they see you", Draco said taking her hand and leading her into the now open Hall. Y/n sat down beside Draco and Pansy and Blaise suddenly stopped their conversation and turned to her. 

"Y/n you're awake!", Pansy screamed as she reached across the table and hugged her friend. 

"Nice to see you crazy", Blaise beamed hugging her. They chatted for a moment but the whole time Y/n couldn't help but notice how Blaise and Pansy were staring at her weirdly while Draco seemed fine. 

They explained that there was a rumour that when she was taking to the Hospital Wing her scar began to bleed like an open wound but stopped when Harry was taking up and was completely fine within seconds of the twins reuniting.

"Another year gone!", Dumbledore said clasping his hands together. "And I'm sorry to bore you with an old man's wheezing waffle before we start our delicious feast. What a year it's been!  Hopefully your heads are a little fuller than they were...you have a whole summer ahead to get them empty before next year starts...", Dumbledore rambled on.
