*Y/n's Pov*

I opened my eyes to see seven people sitting around me; Draco, Harry, Hermione, Ron, Madam Pomfrey, Dumbledore and Professor McGonagall.

"What happened?", I asked sitting up but I winced and laid back down when I felt a sharp pain across my chest.

"Well we'll leave your friends to explain, Ms. Potter", Dumbledore said and the three adults walked away.

"Y/n, Peter got away and Sirius was in trouble and everything had gone to shit. So we used Hermione's time turner which is how she's been taking all those classes this year and we went back to this evening", Harry began. "We freed Buckbeak, saved Sirius from the dementors and sent him off with Buckbeak... but we couldn't stop Pettigrew from escaping or you being slashed by Lupin".

I trailed fingers over my chest... there were no wounds... just pain.

"What happened with this", I asked gesturing to my chest now.

"Madam Pomfrey managed to heal the wounds and fix the internal bleeding because Malfoy got you here so quick. But since the claws scratched your insides, which have been healed, it'll be sore for a few more hours. There's no side effects or anything because of well... Malfoy", Hermione said.

I looked at him. He looked at me.

He looked as though he felt I might disappear if he looked away.

"C-could you give us a minute?", I asked.

The trio nodded and they closed the curtains. Draco quickly performed a silencing spell around the area.

And then he kissed me, passionately. I grabbed the back of his neck and held him there and kept kissing him.

"I love you so fucking much Y/n, you have no idea. Not a clue", He whispered.

I smiled at him. "It's me and you okay? Through everything, okay?", I whispered back.

"Always, always my darling".

"Draco...".

"Yes Y/n?", He teased.

(A/n: This paragraph is extremely important as it starts revealing Y/n's plot so please read it carefully and remember this)

"V-voldemort will return", I spoke. "And when he does... I'll play a different role to Harry, he doesn't want to kill me. He wants me to help him. Dumbledore confessed to me however that I must not say what side I'm on to anyone... not even in private. He says he'll explain it eventually but for now I musn't say what side I'm on. Apparently Voldemort won't track me down... he'll just try to win my alliance. I don't know why and I don't trust Dumbledore but I'm worried... for you".

"Don't worry about me... you'll be safe, and I'll be beside you the whole time. I love you", He reassured.

"I love you more, and don't even try and say I don't because we both know I'm always right", I teased with a smrik.

Draco smiled. "There's my girl".

Butterflies.

Fucking hell, butterflies.

I smiled and kissed him so soft and slow it was almost like time was slowing down for us.

_Third Person Pov_

The exam results came in and Y/n screamed with happiness when she saw that she had scored the highest in all her exams and had been top of her year again, Draco in second and Hermione in third.

Hermione was fuming.

Draco was glad that his father wouldn't kill him over not beating Hermione.

*Y/n's Pov*

Speaking of, Draco said that I can stay with him this summer again and he has a surprise for me... I told him I'd stay for whenever he needs me for this surprise and until we return to school but that I need some time with Harry.

He sulked for an hour and a half but then was extremely excited about his surprise.

Pansy had nearly killed me when she found out what I did against Lupin, but she and Blaise know nothing about Sirius... we're forbidden from telling anyone else.

And while Lupin apologised many many times and accepted my offer to keep in touch... he still resigned.

Sirius wrote me and apologised for not being able to say goodbye and for not being able to protect me from Lupin, but what shocked me the most was the Firebolt that came with it. He also teased me endlessly about trying to murder Pettigrew.

So I guess the year ended off as good as it could have. I was ready for summer I was excited for what was to come in fourth year... I wasn't excited about returning to the Dursley's but not everything in life is exciting.
