Chapter 11

I get to leave today yay! It's still early so I have a little time before I leave. I sit in the bed excitedly. Fidgeting a lot. The nurse comes in to do the final check up. She brings the crutches with her and I smile brightly. She sets them next to my bed. My dad walks in not to long after that.

"Hey dad."

"Hey pumpkin you ready to go?" He asks and I nod my head vigorously," okay I got paperwork to sign and you need to get ready just meet me in the lobby."

He leaves and as quick as I can manage I throw on my normal clothes. I forgot how much of a pain this knee thing is. I call the nurse in to help me when I finish and make my way to the lobby. I head to the car with my dad and he helps me to my seat. This'll get easier.

"Can you take me to the training camp?" I ask my dad as he starts driving.

"Are you sure? The coach said if you need rest you don't have to go back for the last few days," he looked concerned.

"I may not be able to do much but I can still help with what I can," I smile at my dad

"You really love that team of yours don't you or is it just that boyfriend of yours. What was his name again?"

My face heats up," His name is Ryunosuke Tanaka, and yes I do love the team it's just a plus that he's in the team."

My dad chuckles at me. We sit in content quiet until we get to the gym. I'm excited to see the team again even if it's only been a few days. It's just felt like forever in that hospital bed. I make my way to the gym which is a slow process as I get used to crutches again. My dad peals open the bug net as I make my way inside.

The boys are in the middle of a head to head match with Fukurodani. Tanaka is spiking, trying to his one of his line shots. Instead it went out. He burrows his head into his hands.

"Come on Ryu you can do better than that!" I call out to him and he swings his head around in surprise.

"Y/n!" He runs over and pulls me into a long kiss which still gives me butterflies," I've been so worried."

"Well I'm fine you big idiot. Now get back to the game before I beat you. I may be crippled but I can still hurt you," he gulps and runs back to the game. I make my way to the bench and carefully sit down with my leg straight out in front of me.

~time skip brought to by I need some help😬~

We're on the bus home and the boys are all passed out. Tanaka's head is in my lap and I'm running my hand back and forth across his prickly head. It feels super cool. We're in the back so my leg can be stretched out. Now it's time to get trained for the inter high qualifiers.

We arrived at the school kinda late, but that's fine because it's a Friday. The boys all pitched in to help me with my stuff. I ended up walking with Tanaka and Noya. Tanaka had my stuff and Noya was just jumping around in front of me. He ended up splitting off from us though cause his mom got mad at him for taking to long.

Tanak brought my stuff inside. I stood at the bottom of the staid and sighed," hey can you help me?"

Tanaka swooped me up easily, bridal carry style and walked me to my room. He gently set me down on my bed and grabbed some clothes for me. He through his hoodie at me and I immediately throw it on savoring the smell.

"Hey it's getting really late you wanna just stay over," I smiled at him," my dad shouldn't care."

"Sure princess," I blush at the nickname," you like it? I think it fits."

"I love it now come cuddle me," I did the grabby hand things and he gets in the bed next To me wrapping his arms around my waist.

I snuggle into him and relax," goodnight princess."

"Good night Ryu."
