As the summer dragged on so did the order meetings we had two or three a week now things had gotten more intense more and more death eaters were starting to come out of the shadows we were under constant watch if we weren't at headquarters we were confined to our homes
I had told my friends that I had gone with Charlie to Romania for some time so they wouldn't be suspicious about what we were doing all the time and why we were so careful all the time
Every once in awhile the Weasley family, Hermione, Sirius , my dad and I would have game nights at our home so everything didn't revolve around the more and more terrified wizarding world
Today the weather was excellent so we had set up a slip and slide in the backyard
"Alexa come here" Dad boomed from inside the house clearly fuming
"This is when I die" I whispered to Charlie giving him a quick peck before running inside
"Tell me you didn't seek out a fight with you know who?" He asked trying his best to remain calm
"I didn't I hoped I got there in time to stop Wormtail from bringing him back to which I was unsuccessful so I waited until mum gave me the go ahead and I put the death eaters to sleep and made sure Harry got away before I made you know who forget everything about me and make the death easters think he was going insane" I explained giving him a smile hoping it would lighten his mood
"Your mother is gone" He said through gritted teeth
"I know she is but her spirit it came out of his wand along with Lily and James and a few others" I said fighting back tears wanting nothing more then for him to understand
"It wasn't real" He slammed his fist into the table getting angrier by the second
"It was to me" A tear slipped down my cheek as I ran out taking shelter in the stables wanting to be alone for a bit
"Mini moon?" Sirius voice echoed in the empty stable as he found me sitting behind the many bales of hay
"He means well you know that" He said sitting down next to me
"This is why I didn't tell him" I wiped my face with my sleeve
"He hasn't been the same since he lost Gabbie you know that he doesn't want to lose you too you need to see things from his perspective just like he has to see things from yours" Sirius said for once being the voice of reason
"He needs to see I'm not a child anymore" I huffed
"I still forget you're not a child anymore, even after 12 years in Azkaban I still expected you to be the little girl I left that night yet here you are a grown woman able to fend for yourself" He smiled giving me a gentle push
"I'm gonna go talk to him" I smiled getting up again going back inside

"Everything okay?" Charlie asked as I joined everyone else outside again
"Yeah it was nothing important I'll explain when we get home" I smiled wrapping my arms around him laughing as Ron got thrown down the slip and slide by Fred and George
"Will you two stop being gross" Fred and George gagged in unison
"Are you two sure you're not just jealous that you don't have girlfriends" Bill teased causing the two to blush profusely
"How do you know we don't have girlfriends?" George shot back
"Lee doesn't count" Ginny laughed pushing Fred off his feet and down the slip and slide as I did the same to George
"Dinner" Molly yelled over the laughter a smile on her face from seeing the fun we were having

"Can someone hand me the potatoes please?" I asked having tried my best to get a few before they were all gone
"Why don't you just summon them?" Ron asked handing the bowl to Charlie who gave it to me
"Dad says I cant use my powers at the table" I stated putting the bowl back unto the table
"Your mother said that I just enforced it seeing as she broke it herself" Dad smiled remembering the many times mom broke her own rule

"Here I found it in the basement the other day, your mother would have wanted you to have it" Dad smiled handing me a worn copy of the tales of beedle the bard
I remembered the book like it was yesterday mom would always have it with her she would read it to me anytime we had to wait or just sat somewhere together using a picture of the two of us as a bookmark

"She always carried that picture even before she had the book with her anywhere" Dad smiled as I gently ran a finger over the picture
"I miss her" I said
"Me too but she would be so proud of you if she was here" He pulled me into a hug kissing my forehead
"You think so?"
"I know so you were her pride and joy she changed when she got pregnant with you nothing but you mattered to the day she died she swore nothing would ever happen to you while she could help it" He said
"You were her only weakness" Sirius smiled from the doorway
