3rd POV

For a late November morning, the weather was considerably perfect. The sun was shining and the birds were singing. The sky had zero trace of any clouds and the air has never been crisper.

"Morning, Y/n." Bokuto said with a deep sleepy morning voice.

"Good morning, baby." Y/n reached up to caress the boy's face.

"Oh? Pet names already I see?" Bokuto chuckled and leaned into the girl's touch.

Y/n took the opportunity to gently slap Bokuto face with that same hand. They laughed and he held her closer to his chest.

After another 2 hours of sleep, the whole house was now awake. The two didn't have to hide their blossoming relationship from anyone. They secretly wanted everyone to know that they belonged to each other and only each other.

Breakfast was served and soon after, everyone was outside and on the deck.

"Shouldn't we wait to go in the water? We'll get cramps!" Y/n states.

"Last one in the water is a pussy!" Kageyama shouts while darting for the open end of the pier.

Hinata, Tsukki, Yamaguchi, and Kenma run and splash into the ocean after Kageyama.

The rest of the group stayed dormant. They all nervously glanced at one another, too afraid to address the elephant in the room.

"Y/n, you don't have to go in if you don't want to." Bokuto holds her hand.

"I ain't no fucking pussy!" she marched towards the pier.

"No, wait!" Kuroo grabbed her free hand.

Y/n slipped her hand out of his and backed into Bokuto's body.

"Sorry, I forgot you two were... nevermind. I just wanted to apologize again for yesterday. I didn't think anything was going to happen when I pushed you in yesterday, honest! I'm so sorry, Y/n." Kuroo bowed to her.

Y/n had thought long and hard all morning how this scenario would play out. She knew he would try apologizing to her again since she was giving him, and everyone else for that matter, the silent treatment.

'Kuroo didn't know better, so it wasn't really his fault' Y/n thought to herself.

"It's ok, Tetsu. You didn't know. I'll be alright, but just be careful next time." Y/n accepted his genuine apology.

"I will, Y/n. Thank you." Kuroo bowed to her once more.

"Now that that's settled, last one in the water is a pussy!" Mimi screamed, dragging Akaashi along with her.

Kuroo was in fact the pussy.

Y/n had mustered up all the courage she had within her and jumped off the pier, all while holding Bokuto's hand.

Mimi was also talking to her again. She kept giving the excuse she really was just homesick and said she quickly got over it when she saw her best friend almost die right in front of her.

Everyone decided to play water polo so the teams would be even. The teams were the same as their car arrangements. It simply just made everything about knowing who's on whose team easier.

Y/n's team lost because the other team kept cheating. They kept purposely splashing water in everyone's faces to continuously blur their vision.

The winning team chose their prize of eating the leftovers of last night's dessert.
