Chapter Seven - The Pup,The Cat and the Rabbit

Harry grabbed his quill, dipped it into the ink and began writing :

Dear Lupin,

In regards to your previous letter, I would like to have 3 amanigus potions, one for each of my friends. And thank you for your advice, I really appreciate it. Please enclose the potions in your next letter.

Harry,

Harry neatly tied the letter to the owl and watched as the brown, large owl flew out the window and into the sky, where the sun was rising into the sky. Harry cleared up his mess and dashed to the Great Hall for breakfast. Hermione and Ron were already there, but they had saved him a spot. Harry sat between them and grabbed a piece of toast. There was only 10 minutes to class, so shovelling some toast down was his best option right now. After eating some breakfast, he dashed to the dungeons and entered the room. Professor Snape, and a few students were already there. Minutes later, the room was filled with Gryffindors and Slytherins. From behind, Draco Malfoy shot him a smile and pointed to the board. The instructions were already on the board. Harry gave the currently-kind Slytherin a silent thank you and began reading the board. There was quite a few lines of words and Harry's eyes could only just read it. From somewhere near him, Harry could hear Pansy Parkinson snickering " Baby Potter's been having nightmares again! You gonna cry - ". She was cut off by Snape shouting " ENOUGH! 25 POINTS FROM SLYTHERIN!". All the Slytherins looked shocked while the Gryffindors just smirked. Harry felt his face redden and buried his face in his hands. But Snape continued, his anger not yet gone " ONE MORE WORD OUT OF YOUR MOUTH, MISS PARKINSON, I WILL TAKE AWAY 100 POINTS FROM SLYTHERIN!". Pansy just gaped, her eyes wide in disbelief and her mouth agape. All the Slytherins kept their mouths shut for the rest of the lesson.

A couple of hours later, a small, black owl with big, round amber eyes. On it's leg was a piece of parchment, Harry shot up and grabbed the letter from the owl. He quickly dug into his cloak for a knut and put it in the owls outstretched leg. The owl scurried out the window and flew into the night sky. Harry noticed that there was also a small bag, attached to the parchment. He sat on the hearth rug and opened the bag to find 3 identical potion bottled with dark, red liquid inside. Harry tucked those into his cloak and read the letter.

Harry,

Enclosed in the green bag is three potions for amanigus, drink the entire bottle in one sitting and you will be able to transform into whatever animal you are destined to.

Lupin,

Harry smiled, rolling up the letter and putting it in his trunk. After 10 minutes, Harry saw Hermione and Ron enter the common room. They smiled at him and Hermione asked " Hello Harry, how are you?". Harry nodded " Good. Good.". Ron pointed to the sachet of potions in the green bag he was holding. " What's that?". Harry grinned " This is the amanigus potion, given to me by Professor Lupin". At the same time, Harry's friends gasped " Ooh!". Harry handed his friends a potion, and explained to them what they had to do. Harry swiftly drank the potion, the other two watching him, and finished it in under a minute. Ron and Hermione looked on in shock as he dematerialized and then reformed into....a white, fluffy puppy, with bright green eyes. Ron nearly fainted and said " Aww". Hermione on the other hand, couldn't believe her eyes. Harry was a puppy!. Harry barked and wagged his tail, the other two laughed. Next, Hermione drank hers, and she too dematerialized and became....a chocolate brown kitten, with slightly bent ears. Ron again cried " My best friends are too adorable!". Finally, Ron drank, and his body transformed into a rabbit, a ginger rabbit. The three, now all animals, were prepared to wreck some havoc for Snape. Through the dungeons, where Snape was talking to Draco, the three animals dashed under their legs and started breaking stuff. It was quite fun, well until Draco caught them with his spell "Steezeify!". Draco suddenly spoke " Wait...why do you three look so familiar?". At once, Harry, Ron and Hermione returned to their human form. Snape growled " Potter, Weasley and Granger, should've expected this". For a second, the trip had awaited their doom. But Snape said " 10 points for Gryffindor". Draco gaped " WHAT?". So did the others. But Snape added " For successfully transformist into amanigus at fifth year". Harry asked if they would be punished. Snape responded with a simple 'nah', and left, his robes billowing behind him. That left Harry, Ron and Hermione standing there with their mouths hanging open in shock. Harry stammered " D-did he just give us points for that?". Ron replied "Yes". Hermione simply grabbed their hands, dragged them on the common room, and sat them all into a huddled circle. Worriedly, Harry asked
" Hermione?". She looked at the boys silently then screamed " THAT WAS AWESOME!". Her face grew into a grin. " I know I usually don't like breaking rules but... now I don't care!". Ron smirked " I love this Hermione". Harry nodded in agreement. This was a way better Hermione. After an hour....

Harry sent Lupin a final letter :

Dear Lupin,

Thank you so much for the potions, I really appreciate it. Being an unregistered amanigus was really cool! So thank you again, I hope you are also doing well. I enclosed a small gift of some Hogwarts sweets, there really good!. Once again, thank you.

Harry,

Harry tied the letter to his owl and smiled as she dashed out the window into the sky. Harry, finally, settled into his bed. Once the room was filled with quiet snores, he fell asleep in the darkness....

For once, all was well.
