Who killed 'You Know Who'?

A thought came to Harry as he looked at Voldemort, he was the one next to Hermione, who’s watching her now? She is their only hope of getting rid of Voldemort once and for all.

“Good seeing you again Harry, how’s death treating you? Hmm? How are your parents going? Oh… sorry I nearly forgot that I killed them some years ago, Lilly and James Potter, what a lovely couple, too bad, they could have been of some use to me if they had joined as a death eater. Did you like Bellatrix’s pollyjuice potion, didn’t see it coming did you haha she is quite the actor isn’t she?”.

Harry kept his head down, tried to focus, what was he going to do he has the elder wand. Ron nudged Harry and beckoned him to look behind Voldemort, it was Hermione she had her wand directed at Voldemort and put her finger up to her lips to let us know not to say anything.

“Avada Kedavra!” She screams and a green hex of light hit Voldemort from behind, stunned at first and then plummets to the ground with a loud thud.

‘Hermione! Y.. You killed him… I didn’t think you had it in you” Ron says cheekily to Hermione.

“You guys helped, you distracted him so I could get the advantage on my side, you’re so brave sir Ron Weasley and sir Harry Potter, so thank you very much guys” Hermione thanked and kissed both Ron and Harry on the cheek, both went bright red in embarrassment.

“Hermione… You do know what that means right? Killing the dark lord, that’s the chosen ones job, does that mean…?” Ron asked with a huge smile on his face.

“No, it couldn’t be, after all the rumour is that Harry Potter is the chosen one I cannot steal away his title” Hermione replied pointing towards Harry as she spoke.

“Hermione, you are the chosen one, if anyone else tried defeating Voldemort they would not have succeeded but you have, he’s finally gone for good, and it’s all thanks to you” Harry joined in. Hermione flicked her hair off of her scratched face and brushed the dust off of her jeans, recollecting her thoughts she stepped over to Voldemort’s body and pulled out the beautiful wand that he had been holding.

“This is the ‘Elder Wand’ is it not?” She asked tossing it a few times in the air and catching it. Ron’s eyes widened at the sight of such a wonderfully powerful and beautifully made wand. “Wasn’t this Dumbledore’s?” She asked again.

“Yes that is the Elder wand and yes it belonged to Dumbledore, but now it belongs to you, you killed its previous owner so therefore it’s yours” Harry proceeded.

“I’m the chosen one? Who would have thought, but with this wand I am pretty much invincible, am I not? Along with the resurrection stone that I stole out of your pocket Harry, I am stronger than Lord Voledamort and nobody realised how dangerous I could be if people looked past my intelligence and nerd like personality and focused on everything else” Hermione said raising her voice, she sounded agitated.

“Whoa calm down, you are over thinking things Hermione, you don’t have to be like him” Ron distracted as Harry reached for his wand.

“You really think I’m that stupid, I’ve spent the past how many years with you boys?” Hermione snapped. “Expelliarmus!” She screams, disarming Harry of his wand. “It’s MY turn to receive the attention that I never received it’s MY turn to be famous, it’s MY turn for everyone to know MY name!” She proceeded as she paced around Harry and Ron.

“Hermione snap out of it, do you really think I wanted all this attention do you really think I planned for this to happen? We are your best friends, what’s gotten into you?” Harry asked.

“You! Harry, you are what’s gotten into me… How do you think it felt? Being the smartest kid but always… ALWAYS! Being upstaged by the poster boy ‘chosen one’ hmm? “ Hermione exclaimed violently, her body shaking from the release of emotion.  Harry took a step back feeling as if he would get hurt if he had been any closer to her.

A/N Just wondering how everyone is going would really like some comments about what you think of my story so far and if it's alright? Really appreciate it if you gave me a bit of feedback.
